Spiritual Thinking Makes it easy during Tough Times

Spiritual Thinking Makes it Easy during Tough Times.
We all go through tough times sometimes in life. It can be personal, like health, financial, emotional, etc., or communal or national such as the current pandemic. It may feel like we are alone, and each minute seems like eternity. Buan t, does it have to be that way? Not necessarily. If we remember that God, Brahman, or Divine Mind is with us, helping us 24/7, it will get a lot easier. God does not worry about whether some problem is complex because He is the Cause and Effect, and He even knows when the pain will end. All we need is an assurance that he is always there to protect and guide us. When we think spiritually, our human mind, which causes all the fear, is synchronized with the Divine Mind. We feel comfortable and happy and do not even worry about our difficult times; time passes quickly. So when we are thinking spiritually it makes it easy during tough times. We feel like God is carrying us on His shoulders.
Believe me; I had my share of difficult times. When I left the corporate world, I faced one obstacle after another; First, when my business went down, we lost our home, and without a job and two teenage kids, and a wife, I had to go through several career changes and move to India to retire. I resurrected my consulting career. My wife developed breast cancer, and although she recovered for a short time, she passed away. My daughter, who was finishing her Ph.D. in theology, passed away. Soon I had to undergo a triple bypass heart surgery. God, Brahman, and the Divine Mind were with us through all this ordeal, and I came out healthy. But soon after, the pandemic started, and Divine Mind directed me to share my knowledge of God and Divine Mind with others during the pandemic to give hope and assurance to others. I started doing this by creating spiritual groups and sharing thoughts on What
WhatsApp, and I found it so enjoyable that I decided to start a blog. I know it is difficult, but with God holding my hands, I am having much fun.
I want to share some Bible verses that were comforting to me during these times and made life easier:
• Nehemiah 8:10 “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
• Psalm9:9-10 “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
• Psalm 34:10 b “Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”
• Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
• Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
• Isaiah 41:10 “ Fear thou not for I am with thee. Be not dismayed; I am thy God. I will strengthen thee and uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
There are several more, but knowing that God’s divine mind is with us 24/7 gives us the strength and courage to move on. That is why when we synchronize our human mind with the divine mind, things seem more accessible. Spiritual thinking makes it easy during tough times.
I will conclude with the title of a book that the late Reverend Robert Schuller wrote: “ Tough times don’t last, but tough people do.”

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
