Adversities are a part of life. When Moses led the Israelites from Egypt to the promised land, they encountered so many problems. At one point, they had the Red Sea ahead of them and the Pharoah’s army behind them. The naysayers among them were trying to convince the Israelites how Moses had led them all to a disaster only to perish. So they better turn back and seek Pharoah’s forgiveness. At that point, Moses turned to God, The Divine Mind, and sought help. God never fails. Immediately, a mighty wind opened a pathway right through the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross. The Pharoah’s army that followed them perished altogether because the wind had subsided, and the break in the sea disappeared.
The Divine Mind, God, and Brahman inside each one of us all the time will always come to our help if only we would seek Hom, as Moses did. When we seek help from Him, our human mind surrenders to the Divine Mind, which opens the channels of communication between the two and God, Divine Mind’s thoughts are passed on to us in a matter of microseconds. If we are sincere, we will also be able to implement those thoughts and will be able to solve the problem naturally. This is what Spiritual Thinking is, the synchronization of our human studies with the Divine Mind. The affirmation of One Reality that God, Divine Mind, is the only power and He is all in all. Spiritual Thinking is the ultimate way to overcome obstacles. The obstacles arise because we follow our human thoughts. The Human Ego drives human studies in the wrong direction. To change the order of ego-driven ideas, we must bye-pass the ego, which is tough to do with our efforts since the ego and Divine Mind always conflict. Let us discuss the following:

Eternal Conflict of the human ego and the Divine Mind

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern God’s will and what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,

When Man was created, God also gave him a mind to think for himself, knowing fully well that it could go astray if not channeled correctly. The human mind, which is derived from the human ego, by itself, only thinks materially. This means it will have limitations like envy, jealousy, pride, competition, power over others, hatred, etc. These qualities limit one’s reach and potential. For example, when a child is born, he is neutral, and his thoughts are not controlled. However, when he is hungry, he only knows to cry to get his mother’s attention, and once she finds out that he is hungry, she feeds him. Now the child has figured out that he can get attention by crying, which becomes a temper tantrum when he becomes a toddler to get what he wants. Pretty soon, he develops other habits that will get him what he wants. This can continue even later as adults when they become politicians or get much power in executive positions. Because they think in a limited way, they believe that the resources are limited and have to grab more than their share in an animalistic way. This is all derived from the human ego.
Imagine man thinking of God, the Divine Mind, the Infinite mind having unlimited resources as big as the universe and can provide as much as one needs and more. As a result, man will be more stable, not worry only about himself, but engage himself in humane ways, developing civility, compassion, empathy, and a high intellect from the Divine Mind. In other words, by thinking spiritually, he can resolve the eternal conflict between the human ego and the divine mind. Therefore, spiritual thinking would have affected a conflict resolution between the human ego and the Divine Mind. As a result, his dependence on the human ego and pride diminishes by practicing spiritual reflection, and he ultimately loses the ego. At this point, not only are his needs met, but he is also a pleasure to deal with in all his relations and enjoys peace, happiness, and security. All this is because he dared to conflict with the human ego and the Divine Mind.
Spiritual thinking will enable us to enjoy life even during turbulent times with God caring for us if we channel our thoughts correctly. This is achieved all the time by frequent prayers and affirmations of the Truth of only one reality: God, Divine, Infinite Mind, is all in all and is present within us all the time, helping us.
Spiritual thinking will resolve the conflict between the human ego and the Divine Mind.

Spiritual thinking is the superior wisdom of the self.

James 3:17
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is more muscular than men.

In an earlier post on wisdom and knowledge, I mentioned that you could acquire knowledge in several ways. These include listening, formal or informal learning, reading, conversations, etc. However, all this knowledge will only be valuable if it is absorbed and stored in your conscious retrieve when needed. Like a computer, all the stored information can be retrieved only if you know where you have kept them. The human mind will be able to tap into this storage only so much since it is distracted all the time. However, the Divine Mind can retrieve any information in a split second and pass it on to the human brain through the consciousness conduit. This will happen intuitively only if you have synchronized your human mind with the Divine Mind. Since the Divine Mind s capacity is unlimited, it can give you the retrieved information, even in complex situations. The output in these circumstances is called wisdom, derived from the word wise, a god-like quality.
In this age of explosive growth of information and disinformation, it is tough for the human mind to keep track of all the information, and even more challenging to weed out all the misinformation. Therefore, we must all practice spiritual thinking, not only to see the truth through all misinformation but also the wisdom to make the right decisions when we need to. As I had written in another post, we need to practice spiritual thinking through prayers and constant affirmations of only one reality, ie. God, the Divine Mind, is all-in-all.
When we understand and get into our consciousness that God, Divine Mind, is the only cause and effect, retrieval of all stored information becomes accessible, natural, and instantaneous. When we reach this stage, we understand that God is inside each of us, and that leads to the understanding of the Self. We can connect wisdom and knowledge naturally through this understanding of the Self.
Thus, spiritual thinking is the superior wisdom of the Self.

Spiritual thinking enables you to experience Divine Love all the time.
• 1 John 4:8 – But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
• 1 John 4:16 – We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
• “Divine Love has always met and will meet every human need.” Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science
If you walk into any Christian science church, you will find the above statement by Mary Baker Eddy. There have been lots of articles written with that statement. I will reference one by the heading “ Love Heals “ on Christian Science Monitor dated December 18, 1984 ( https://www.csmonitor.com/1984/1218/121806.html )
Let us see. What is this divine love? God, Divine Mind, is active in each of us and guides us. He is only good and only cares about our sound always, his creation. Anything else is not true and comes only from our doubts and fear emanating from our human mind. Just as you have to clear the clouds while flying on a plane to see the clear sky, you have to clear and remove the human-derived thoughts and misinformation before you see clearly. When you do that, you will experience Divine Love and all the good He has in store for us.
Mrs. Eddy, who always spent time studying the Bible in childhood, was always curious about how Jesus could heal people of all diseases. In midlife, after her first t husband had passed away returned to New England and concentrated on studying the Bible. In her midlife, she was immobilized with a severe injury slipping on ice. Her physician and all her relatives lost hope for her, and the relatives tried to arrange her funeral while she was alone upstairs. As she was studying the new testament and how Jesus healed, she suddenly got energized, dressed,d, and came down. She was wondering why many people had gathered. From that moment on, she concentrated on healing others just as she had been healed. She founded the Christian Science Church, wrote the book “Science and Health with keys to the scriptures” and published the first edition in 1875. The First Church of Christ Scientist, which has branches all over the world, practiced healing people all over the world. Along with the Bible, her book is the pastor in all these branches.
Divine Mind is always holding our hand and ready to lend a helping hand in any situation. However, we can avail of this help only if we have been practicing or understanding that God, the creator of everything in this universe and the cause and effect of everything that happens, will be able to hear his advice under any situation. This requires constant affirmations and prayers, and as discussed in an earlier posting:
Once we become proficient in spiritual thinking, we can always experience Divine Love.

Adam H Dickey, Mary Baker Eddy’s assistant before her death in 1910, pondered over everything he had learned and practiced in Christian Science. He wrote an article in the Christian Science Journal in 1916 titled “ God’s Law of Adjustment.” I have reproduced the first two paragraphs of that article below:
“Man lives by divine decree. He is created, governed, supported, and controlled by the law of God. Law means or implies a rule established and maintained by power; that which possesses permanence and stability; that which is unchanging, unyielding, and continuous—”the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” The efficiency of law rests entirely in the power that enforces it. A law (so-called) that is incapable of being enforced is not law and bears no relationship to the law. God is the only creator, the only lawmaker. All the power, action, intelligence, life, and government in the universe belong to God and have always belonged to Him. He is the Supreme Ruler and does not share His power with another.”

In an earlier post on Reality ( Truth ) and Unreality ( Illusion ), I discussed that realities are permanent and unrealities are temporal:
God’s laws are natural and permanent. They do not change with time. Does that mean that when you are in, you did not do anything when you were in a crisis riddling when Rome was burning? No!. If you have been practicing spiritual thinking and have been affirming the one reality of God, all in all, then Divine Mind will speak to you through your thoughts and will tell you what to do. I had discussed in an earlier post how to synchronize the human mind with Divine Mind:
It might be that you stay calm and stay put, or like when Tom Hanks was stranded on an island in ‘Cast Away, taking God’s advice to survive by whatever means and waiting for help to arrive. On the other hand, you might get other ideas in a particular crisis if you do not panic. If an eagle is caught up in a storm, it does not panic; it just climbs up higher, uses all the energy in the winds to soar higher, and happily flies in the shower. If you swim upstream when the current is high, you do not fight the current. You gently push Instead, the water away and let yourself glide forward easily. This is because of a scientific principle: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. That is, you do not fight high winds or water currents but make use of the opposite response to lift you. These thoughts will come to your mind by practicing spiritual thinking. That is the reason spiritual thinking is the ultimate help in trouble. You will only panic if you let your ego dominate, especially under dire circumstances.

If you have practiced spiritual thinking or Gnana Yoga, you will be holding God’s hands and safe. Indeed, spiritual thinking is the ultimate help in trouble.

While human relationships are very complex and complicated is no factual spiritual basis for that. Yes, God does create individuals with different temperaments, personalities, likes, and dislikes, just as He has created everyone with different fingerprints, etc. However, when we understand that there is only one Divine Mind present in each being, it is natural that we will all be able to understand one another. The conflicts onlconflictsman beings are driven by their human ego, which is controlled by the human mind. As we continue to practice the one reality of God, Divine Mind is all in all and is present as a whole in every being, the man ego starts to melt away, and the human and Divine Mind start synchronizing. When this happens, we understand the other person’s perspective. When we are perceived as understanding, their ego also sour, melting away, and at this point, we start caring and sharing. Since spiritual thinking is thoughts based on reality, the disagreements also disappear or at least subside to a level where we start appreciating each other and their perspectives. That is the reason spiritual thinking is the ultimate help in human relations.

Let us see how it will happen if one is a spiritual thinker but the others are not—bearing in mind that no one can be an absolute, nonspiritual thinker. Everyone, being God’s creation, will have some sense of God, no matter what they claim to be. Since the Divine Mind, God loves everyone and has con and the human body and mind, He can make it flexible. That is what happens when the other person is thinking spiritually. The synchronization of the human mind and the Divine Mind in that person send responsive signals to the person’s mind through the one Divine Mind so that the other person unconsciously responds well to those signals. This starts developing trust in their views to melt away disagreements. I am neither a psychologist nor a psychoanalyst, but my connection with the Divine Mind drives myths. The nice thing about this is that you do not become a yes-yes person, but you can convey your thoughts calmly and understand the other person’s views. The respect you have will show up in your chosen words and actions automatically. This elicits an equally respectful and thoughtful response. You might even go for a cup of coffee together. You can make this happen in other conversations and meetings as well. That is the reason spiritual thinking is the ultimate help in human relations. Frequent affirmations of the truth of one reality and prayer will enable you to be intuitive in all your concerns and will always lead to good relations.
