Spiritual Thinking is the Ultimate Way for Big Picture.

Spiritual Thinking is the Ultimate Way for Big Picture.

In this world of social media, divisive politics, extreme selfishness, severe weather patterns, and rapid change in technological advancement, it is hard to think beyond yourselves. However, for human progress, we need people with big visions, a positive outlook, and a passion for advancement to provide an excellent future for our children. It is said that when you are walking, watching your footsteps to make sure you do not step over some Dog Poo, then you will not be able to see where you are going. But if you look straight to have a farsighted vision, then you cannot be worried about your feet stepping on poo or thorns. This is where we need protection from our Divine Mind inside us to take care of thorns and poo. Spiritual Thinking, by synchronization of our human thoughts with the Divine Mind inside us, provides us with such protection, and when the mind is free of distractions, we can listen to God’s voice for Big Ideas. Thus, spiritual thinking is the ultimate way to create big pictures.

Spiritual thinking is the only way to achieve a big vision.

Jeremiah 29:11.
“’For I know my plans for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Daniel 7:13.
“ I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days; they give him power and a kingdom that lasts forever.

Numbers 12:6.
“ And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak.

Proverbs 29:18.
“Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint, but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.”

Amos 3:7.
“Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.” God tells his prophets about big plans”.

Bhagavad Gita 11.47We call some people Visionaries
Arjun, being pleased with you by My Yogmaya power, I gave you a vision of My resplendent, unlimited, and primeval cosmic form. No one before you has ever seen it.

We call some people Visionaries because they can imagine big things to come way ahead of them being materialized. The Vision originates from Faith. In Hebrews chapter 11, Faith is described as” the substance of things hoped, the evidence of things not seen.” It is the capacity to see and visualize things that do not exist yet. We are all born with a certain amount of faith. Despite failing several times and falling, a baby tries to move from one place to another by rolling over, crawling, and walking. The baby must believe they will succeed because they will not give up after falling a few times. If we travel by train through a tunnel, we must have faith that we will reach the other end of the tunnel. Birds frequently get ready to fly before it gets light outside because they are sure the darkness will pass. People who have much faith develop their communications with God and develop skills to Foresee events before they happen. Because they can profess future events, we call them Prophets or Seers. Visionaries can likewise see advances in our human progress, and man is attuned to follow them. We constantly need visionaries to make progress in terms of gies, culture, society, etc., in an evolving world. Early Man, when he was hungry, hunted animals. He developed tools to hunt efficiently. When his feet hurt while walking, he used the hide from the hunted animals to make his shoes. Then, when he got tired, he invented the wheels and attached them to carriages so he could carry a load. He used animals such as Bulls, Donkeys, and Horses to move faster. While doing so, he learned to tame them and train them. When he wanted to travel faster, he invented motorized vehicles. He saw the birds flying and studied them; he discovered the principles of Aerodynamics, he invented Planes, and when he wanted to explore Space, he invented Rockets and systems to overcome gravity. Whenever we think that man has discovered everything he could, he makes all the technological advances in computers and wonders why he cannot teach computers to think like him. So, he found artificial intelligence and machine learning. As we progress, we must remember that the laws we use to develop these technologies are always waiting to be discovered. It is just that we need the Visionaries to see and recognize them. Let me elaborate with a few examples: The laws of gravity were always there, but it took Sir Isaac Newton looking at a falling apple to recognize it. The statutes of Aerodynamics were always there because. God had made the Birds to fly. We see the Sun providing continuous energy and are exploring ways to do that in a controlled fashion to get away from fossil fuels and avoid all the pollution. We already know how to harness the energy from the Sun since God made the plants to do that to provide us with food. With Solar cells, we can generate electricity directly without any pollution. We use wind energy, ocean waves, and falling water to turn the turbines to generate power. The challenges will be even more difficult as we advance, but with a constant source of Visionaries, we can meet all the challenges we face. But how do we develop Visionaries?

We already mentioned that all the laws governing discoveries exist, but we must recognize them. This is where Spiritual Thinking helps. Spiritual Thinking is the synchronization of our human thoughts with the Divine Mind, God, and Brahman inside each of us through affirmations that God is the only power in this universe and is the cause and effect of every event. To do this, we must eliminate all illusionary distractions, and this is done through prayer and Meditation. Once we synchronize our human thoughts with the Divine Mind, we start hearing God’s thoughts, which are infinite and unlimited, and also easy ways to implement them. When we follow those instructions, we Develop big Visions. This applies not only to technologies but also to social progress, mental attitudes, human relations, and, more importantly, overcoming all forms of diseases since they are all only false manifestations of illusions. Thus, spiritual thinking is the only way to achieve the big visions we need in the future.

Spiritual Thinking is the ultimate way to be yourself.

Psalm 139:14.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”.

Romans 12:2. 2
And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by renewing your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable.

Ephesians 2:10.
We are his artistry, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 5:17.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”.

Jeremiah 29:11.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the LORD whatever you do; he will establish your plans.

Philippians 2:3
Don’t Be Selfish. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

Romans 12:3.
“Because of the grace that God gave me, I can say to each of you: don’t think of yourself more highly than you ought to.

Bhagwad Gita:
Have faith in yourself, stand up, and fight the battle of life with firmness of mind, clarity, and inner strength.

In the modern world of “Me. Me, Me only,” we are pressured not to be ourselves, the beautiful way God created us, but to conform to all the mediocrity around us. The “Me, Me Society” will strip you of all your rights; they will cheat to bankrupt you without any compassion or empathy. And behave like it is their right to cheat and corrupt the Government and political leaders to do the same. Without any rights or regard for individual rights, sometimes, through your friends and relatives and everywhere you turn, people will throw insults, lies, and falsehoods to force you to be different from what you are. God has created each of us beautifully in His image and likeness; you know this truth very well. The corrupt politicians will pressure everyone to convince you that you are not worth living in this world. Are we to think that the only way to survive this onslaught is to lie, cheat, commit a crime, or be like someone we are not? I have been practicing Spiritual Thinking since my teenage years, and it was surprising to me to find myself being incarcerated and persecuted for more than four decades. To understand, let us recollect some history of American politics during the last 43 years.

When Ronald Reagan was inaugurated as President in 1081, he was very popular. He may not have been a great intellectual, but he was the opposite. A crisis developed soon. The Nation’s 12000 Air Traffic Controllers, the people admiringly managing all the thousands of flights daily and their take-offs and landings, went on a strike demanding fewer hours because they were getting stressed out and pay increases. This pissed off Reagan because not only was he opposed to the unions, but he thought Air-Traffic controllers were essential workers and had no right to go on a strike. After giving them a few hours to return to work, he fired them all wholesale, despite his advisors telling him he was putting the whole Air Travel in danger. He told them to have the managers and supervisors manage until new people are trained. The entire nation was on edge, but lucky for him, there were no major accidents. The nation’s Traffic control system was back in shape, boosting him considerably. Through this success, he embarked on another experiment: rebuilding the culture of the Fortune 100 companies. I am pretty sure that he told all the corporate CEOs to grab their best model employees and harass them for whatever reason so that all the other employees would fall in line. I was a chosen one ( I was not supposed to know that ), but from an early age, my Spiritual-Big-Thinking enabled me to comprehend what was happening at high levels without being told. So they hired a person from another Big company known for its “ Do it my way or hit the highway.” This guy became my boss. He was so paranoid and devoid of any intellect that he was paranoid about anything I did, and every time I tried to make him feel comfortable, he would be even more paranoid. To feel secure, he brought in two giants six and half feet tall ( He was himself short, like a typical Mafia boss at about 4 feet 8-9 inches) as his surrogates. Pretty soon, I was harassed so much and demoted that I confronted him. He said it was only temporary and would restore my status within six months; as time passed, he did nothing to fix it. Instead, he had his stooges harass me even more. Even when I reported to him, I wouldn’t say I liked several things he asked me to do, like altering scientific reports, manipulating expense accounts to feed him, etc. So, I decided to leave the Company and seek a position elsewhere. However, the upper management blocked all my moves, followed by some high-level interviews in HR firms that not only surmised what happened but told me that they had to inform the President (Reagan) and that only God knows what would happen. They even pointed out that my Indian Origin and brown skin color would be a detriment to the then administration. I took everything in stride, and as usual, I kept pursuing all avenues available to me through my Spiritual Thinking and forgiving attitude. They made sure that one venture after another failed until we were driven out of our comfortable home, all along making me feel that I was being forced to be different from what God had created me, which I was very proud of, and thanked God every day. I will deal with all the stories in my autobiography, “I am Being What I Am- My Journey to Be Me,” when it is ready and if I am alive. In the meantime, I am happy with my website, https://www.thinkspiritually.net, which I started during the pandemic to make people realize the God, Brahman, and Divine Mind inside them to fulfill their needs and supply, and find harmony during their struggles in life. With successive administrations, Republicans just made it their Principle that ‘what Reagan did was right,’ and Democrats used me to further all colored people’s prospects, both sides constantly pressuring me both economically and socially to change. Divine Mind asked me to be the whole Me as God created during the forty-year ordeal.
The most relevant historical stories to the above are the stories of Joseph in the Bible and the Pandavas in the Mahabharatha.
In the Old Testament, Joseph was the son of the patriarch Jacob and his wife Rachel. Jacob’s name became synonymous with all of Israel, so that of Joseph was eventually equated with all the tribes that made up the northern kingdom. According to tradition, his bones were buried at Shechem, the oldest shrine in the north (Joshua 24:32). His story is told in Genesis (37–50).
Joseph, the most beloved of Jacob’s sons, is hated by his envious brothers. Angry and jealous of Jacob’s gift to Joseph, a glorious “coat of many colors,” the brothers seize him and sell him to a party of Ishmaelites, or Midianites, who carry him to Egypt. There, Joseph eventually gained the favor of the pharaoh of Egypt through his interpretation of a dream and obtained a high place in the pharaoh’s kingdom. His acquisition of grain supplies enabled Egypt to withstand famine. Driven by the same famine, his brothers journey from Canaan to Egypt to obtain food. They prostrate themselves before Joseph but do not recognize him. After Joseph reconciles with his brothers, he invites Jacob’s whole household to come to Goshen in Egypt, where a settlement is provided for the family and their flocks. His brothers’ sale of Joseph into slavery thus proves providential in the end since it protects the family from famine. The family’s descendants grew and multiplied into the Hebrews, who eventually departed from Egypt for Israel.

Pandavas, five brothers, and Kauravas ( 100 brothers ) were cousins, and the Kingdom of their grandfather was divided equally between the two groups of cousins. The Kauravas defeated the Pandavas in a game of dice by cheating, took the Pandavas’ portion of the kingdom, and sent them into exile for thirteen years. When they came and asked for their kingdom back, the Kauravas refused, and the Mahabharatha war ensued. The Pandavas were always honest and truthful, and the Kauravas were continuously evil. The following Video illustrates that.

Spiritual Thinking is the Ultimate God’s Law of Adjustment.

Zechariah 4:6
‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Philippians 4:13.
‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ‘

2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is all you need, for my power is the greatest when you are weak.”.

Ephesians 6:10.
‘Finally, be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might. ‘

Exodus 14:14.
“The Lord will fight for you; you must only be still.”

Isaiah 40:31.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles and run and not grow weary”.

Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield.

Psalm 46-10:
“ Be Still and know that I am God.”

Bhagwad Gita – Lord Krishna to Arjuna
“ For I am all. The incarnate, Supreme, infinite, all-encompassing (6-30), omnipotent (13-29), the beginningless and endless (11: 19,47)”

There was an article written in 1916 by Adam H Dickey called ‘God’s Law of Adjustment. My Dickey was the personal Assistant to Mary Baker Eddy, The Founder and Pastor of Christian Science Church and the author of “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.” Dickey writes :
“Man lives by divine decree. He is created, governed, supported, and controlled by the law of God. Law means or implies a rule established and maintained by power; that which possesses permanence and stability; that which is unchanging, unyielding, and continuous-“the same yesterday, today, and forever.”1 The efficiency of law rests entirely in the power that enforces it. A law (so-called) that is incapable of being enforced is not law and bears no relationship to law. God is the only creator, the only lawmaker. “He made all things; and without him was not anything made that was made.”2 All the universe’s power, action, intelligence, life, and government belong to God and have always belonged to Him. He is the Supreme Ruler and does not share His power with another.
When we understandably, declare that the law of God is present and in operation, we have invoked or brought into action the whole law and the power of God. We have declared the truth, God’s truth, that the truth of God is the law of destruction, obliteration, and elimination of everything that is unlike Him. When we have stated this truth and applied it, as taught in Christian Science, to any discordant belief we are confronted with, we have done all we can. All that is necessary to destroy any manifestation of error that ever claimed to exist. Error, which has no place in the divine Mind, claims to exist in human thought. When we have put it out of human thought, we have driven it out of the only place where it ever pretended to have a foothold, and after that, it becomes nothing to us.
A law of God applies to every conceivable phase of human experience, and no situation or condition can present itself to mortal thought that can exist outside of the direct influence of this infinite law. The effect of the operation of law is always to correct and govern, to harmonize and adjust. Whatever is out of order or discordant can have no basic Principle of its own but must come under the direct government of God through what may be termed God’s law of adjustment. We are not responsible for carrying out this law. We can do nothing to increase, stimulate, or intensify the action or operation of the divine Mind since it is constantly present, consistently operative, and never ceases to assert and declare itself when rightly appealed to. All we have to do is scientifically bring this law of adjustment into contact with our unfinished problem, and when we have done this, we have performed our whole duty.”

When we become conscious of God being with us 24/7, driving the engine of life, and calming ourselves down in any critical situation, we immediately eliminate distracting thoughts. When we pray and meditate with this truth, we synchronize our distracted human thoughts with the Divine Mind, God, and Brahman inside us, and we begin to hear God’s thoughts on all issues in our minds. God provides solutions in every situation consistent with His Law of Adjustment. Since only one Infinite Mind governs the Universe, the solutions will always be acceptable, and peace and harmony will always endure. History is full of examples of God offering a solution in every situation. We will cite a few examples:
When Moses was leading the Jewish enslaved people out of Egypt to their promised land, at one point, they had the Red Sea in front of them and the Egyptian soldiers on their backs. When Moses prayed, God told them to move forward toward the Sea. A mighty wind ensued, opening a path by splitting the Sea into two, separated by dry land. When all the Israelites had crossed, the Sea closed up, swallowing all the Egyptian Soldiers. That is an adjustment God had made to save the Israelites.

In Mahabharatha, when Kauravas cheated Pandavas in a game of Dice and took their kingdom, they also wanted to disrobe Pandavas common wife Draupadi by disrobing her. The Pandavas could not stop them, but Draupadi prayed to Lord Krishna, and her Saree kept stretching until all the Kauravas got tired and let her go. This is another example of God’s law of Adjustment beyond human means.

Thus, spiritual thinking is God’s ultimate law of adjustment.
Let us conclude with Swami Sivananda’s Universal Prayer:

OM Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
Life is a Pilgrimage.
Humility is not Cowardice.

He worked for a Fortune 100 Corporation for 15 years and spent another 30 years in consulting, own businesses, banking and transportation in the US. He then returned to India, continued his Gnana Yoga for self realization, while studying Upanishads and Bhagwat Gita. Through these blogs he is sharing his knowledge and insights into how Spiritual thinking enables one to attain peace, harmony and happiness. He has just released a book on Amazon on : Think Spiritually, Spiritual Thinking For Life. https://www.amazon.com/author/sivaraman_raghu/ ." From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
