Spiritual Thinking is an excellent way to feel protected.

When God created man in His image and likeness, God also expected man to be a reflection of Himself. However, man using God’s power to think, deviated and developed a human brain-derived ego and pride and drifted away into the material ways. Since God stays inside from birth until death as the Divine Mind, he is always available to help if needed. To teach God’s Divine Mind, man could synchronize the human brain-derived thoughts with the Divine Mind by acknowledging God as the only power, followed by prayer and meditation. When we do that, we can hear God’s words and advice. This is called spiritual thinking, and we start to feel God’s presence and always feel protected.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple way to do the impossible.

Matthew 19:26
And seeing them, Jesus said, “With people, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”
Luke 18:27
But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
Luke 1:37
For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Jeremiah 32:27
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”
Mark 10:27
Looking at them, Jesus *said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
Mark 9:23
And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”
Matthew 17:20
And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you.

Bhagwad Gita
Everything is impossible until someone gets it done the first time.

We all go through situations when we face insurmountable problems. We climb over one hurdle, and another shows up. It sometimes seems like a never-ending crisis after another. Does that mean there is no God, and if He is there, He is hiding somewhere? Is that true? No! It is just an illusion. He is right inside us, as Divine Mind. However, we cannot see him. He is constantly with us, holding our hands as we go through these tribulations, and is ready to help us. At times like these, the devil tries to convince us that our troubles will not end unless we bow to him.
Let us take the story of Joseph. He was the favorite son of the patriarch Jacob. His brothers were so jealous of him that they sold him as a slave to the Egyptians and lied to their father that Joseph was killed. Once in Egypt, while he was working with Potipher, Potifer’s wife tried to nudge Joseph to sleep with her. When Joseph ran away from her, she grabbed his robe and accused Joseph of attempting to Seduce her. When Joseph was thrown in Jail, he could interpret the dreams of Pharoah and correctly predicted a famine that would last for seven years. He advised Pharoah to hoard enough grains and more during the famine. Pharoah was so impressed with Joseph that he made Joseph second to himself.

A few centuries later, when Moses was asked to lead all the Jewish enslaved people under Pharoah to be ruled out of Egypt, he faced many obstacles, one after the other. First, Pharoah commanded that the first sons of all Jews were to be killed. Moses turned it around, and while all Jewish sons remained alive, It was Pharoah’s born who died, forcing Pharoah to let Moses lead the Jews out of Egypt. Pharoah changed his mind and asked his soldiers to follow the Jews. At one point, Moses and the Jews had the Red Sea ahead of them and Pharoah’s soldiers behind them. The Jews were afraid that they would be slaughtered. Moses prayed to God, and a mighty wind opened a passage parting the sea so that Moses and the Jews could safely cross it. Again, when the Jews were wandering and hungry, Manna fell from the sky to feed them. When they got thirsty, Moses was led to strike a rock with his staff, and water began to flow to quench their thirst.

The story of David and Goliath illustrates how a feeble underdog can overcome a mighty giant with the help of God Almighty.

The Biblical account of David and Goliath is one of the most popular stories from scripture. It teaches courage, faith, and overcoming what seems impossible. David was the youngest of Jesse’s twelve sons. One day, the nation of Israel was called to fight the Philistine army that had gathered for war. While David’s brothers went to fight, young David stayed back. The two armies gathered to stand on opposite sides of a deep valley. A great Philistine giant named Goliath, standing over nine feet tall, came to the front of the Philistine battle line daily for forty days and mocked the Israelites and their God. Goliath called them to fight, but King Saul and the Israelites were scared and did nothing.
David was sent by his dad Jesse to visit the front lines and bring back battle news from his brothers. David heard Goliath mocking Israel and their God. David was brave and volunteered to fight Goliath. He persuaded King Saul to let him fight and decided not to wear any of his armor. David carried his sling and gathered five smooth stones. Goliath laughed at David, but David responded that even though Goliath had a sword and spear, he came in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel. David put a rock in his sling and swung one of the rocks at Goliath’s head. The rock sank into the giant’s forehead, and he fell. David then picked up Goliath’s sword and used it to kill Goliath and cut off his head.

David and Goliath
Book of Daniel (Chapter 3)
Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were among the young men who served the king as officials. Daniel became a ruler of a high position (Daniel 2:48). The other three also had positions of authority (2:49; 3:12). Daniel was in one place, and the other three in another.
King Nebuchadnezzar set up a giant golden statue and ordered his people to worship it. Giant statues of this kind were probably not made of solid gold but were plated with gold. The image probably represented the god Nabu, whose name was associated with Nebuchadnezzar’s name. The penalty for disobedience was death in a blazing furnace.
Soon, it was reported that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not worshipping as the king commanded. We can assume that Daniel, wherever he was, also chose not to worship the statue. Perhaps his action did not reach the king’s attention (3:1-13). Nebuchadnezzar did not want the three young men to die.
The three Jews did not question whom they should obey – God or the king. They were pretty sure God could save them. But even if God did not save them, these young men would not worship the idol. God’s will be done.
Nebuchadnezzar had tried to be lenient, to give these men another chance. Now, he was even angrier than before. The furnace was heated seven times hotter than usual. The stove was probably a kiln used for baking bricks. A kiln would have had an open top and an open door at the side through which the king could see the men. Bellows probably controlled the heat of the fire. It was so hot that it killed those who threw the three men in.
The three were unhurt, free from their bonds, and had a companion in the fire. God did not leave his faithful servants alone in their time of need. Although Nebuchadnezzar thought the fourth man was a son of one of the gods, he was sent from the only true God. Perhaps it was an angel, or maybe it was God himself.
When the men came out unscorched without even a smell of smoke on their clothes, Nebuchadnezzar’s look must have changed from fury to awe. The king praised God because He was able to save these servants who trusted Him so thoroughly that they refused to obey the king’s command. They risked death rather than worship any god except their own God.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were glad they obeyed God even when everyone else was not.

Daniel in the lion’s den (Chapter 6)
King Darius ruled Babylon and had an appointment with several men to help him govern and lead. Daniel, the leader of advisors, was a man who believed in God and followed the Lord’s commands. The other men did not like Daniel and did not want him in charge, so they devised a way to get rid of Daniel.
These men knew that Daniel served the God of Israel. They told King Darius to make a new law in which people could worship and pray to only the king, and if they worshipped or prayed to other gods, they would be thrown into the den of lions. The starving lion would eat and kill the lawbreaker.
Daniel understood the new law but committed to remain steadfast in his prayer and praise to the Lord. Daniel prayed three times a day with his windows open. When the men saw Daniel and brought accusations against him to King Darius, the king was devastated because he favored Daniel. The king knew he could not change the law, and Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den.
The king got up the following day and hurried to the den. As he called out for Daniel, to his utter amazement, he could hear Daniel’s voice coming out of the cave instead of the roaring of lions. Daniel explained to the King that God had saved him by sending an angel.

When Krishna was born in a prison where his father Vasudeva and his wife Devaki were held by his maternal uncle, who had threatened to kill the child as soon as it was born, it was a rainy night. Vasudeva was afraid as to how he was going to save the child. The lord appeared in a vision and told him to take the child in a basket, cross the river Jamuna, and leave the child with Yasoda and her husband Nandagopal in Gokulam(the modern city of Mathura) and bring back the girl child there. Vasudeva followed those instructions in the rain and brought the girl child back. In the morning, when Uncle Kamsa went to kill the girl child, she flew away because she was an angel sent by God. Krishna grew up in Gokulam with Yasoda and Nandagopal. Kamsa, who became aware of the whereabouts of Krishna, kept sending demons one after the other, and Baby Krishna finished them one by one until the age of 12 when he decided to go and kill Kamsa and reclaim the Kingdom.

When God instructed Moses to lead the Israelites from Egypt, Moses was nervous and asked the Lord how he could do that and how the Jews would listen to him. The Lord told them, “I am what I am, and had sent Moses to lead the Jews.” Moses did likewise. Moses faced much more resistance from King Pharoah than the Jewish people and had to perform several miracles, like turning the Red Sea red and turning his staff ( Stick) into a snake before convincing the King to let the Jews go. Then, the king changed his mind and sent his army after the Jews. Moses and his people were caught between the Red Sea and Pharoah’s army. Moses then prayed, and God split the sea into two parts so that Moses could lead them to safety. But then Moses had other challenges during their wanderings in the desert. First, they were starving, and when Moses prayed, Manna fell from the sky to feed them. When they had no water to drink, God led Moses to strike a rock with his staff, and water began to flow. This is what we do in spiritual Thinking. We appeal and seek help from God, the Divine Mind inside each of us, and workable ideas sent by God to solve our immediate problems. Our self-confidence and self-esteem get lifted each time.

The most notable battle in the Old Testament:

History is filled with ordinary people rising to extraordinary levels when inspired. In Spiritual Thinking, we first acknowledge that God, the Divine Mind, is all in all. Then, we push aside all the material distractions we are surrounded with through affirmations and prayer. As we do that, we focus on synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind inside each of us 24/7. This synchronization lets us listen to God’s thoughts on the problem. If we follow and implement those thoughts, we automatically demonstrate courage and self-confidence that was not usually expected of us. This is discussed in my post on Affirmations and prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization:

Affirmations and Prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization

This synchronization becomes second nature and habitual through constant practice, and we can show extraordinary divine self-confidence in ourselves. Thus, spiritual thinking is the ultimate way to gain self-confidence.

Spiritual Thinking is a fantastic way to be free.

John 8:32
And you will know the truth, which will make you accessible.
Psalm 116:5
Out of my distress, I called on the Lord; He answered and set me free.
Romans 6:14
For sin will have no dominion over you since you are not under law but under grace.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.
Upanishads:
Renunciation and Self-knowledge is the path to freedom and moksha ( Salvation)
Bhagwad Gita: Chapter 3: 17-19.
17
But that man who rejoices only in the Self is satisfied with the Self and is concerned in the Self – for him, there is no duty to perform.
18
For him, there is no concern here at all with acting, nor any concern with non-performance. Moreover, for him, there is no dependence on any object to serve any purpose.
19
Therefore, remaining unattached always performs the obligatory duty, for a person attains the Highest ( Salvation ) by performing one’s task without attachment.

In this era of social media dominance in everyone’s life and all the misinformation, falsities, and lies floating around and spreading like wildfire, many people are confused and distressed, not knowing what to believe. The technologies are advancing rapidly, forcing people to keep up or lose. Does it have to be that way, or is there a better way to not only know the truth and be peaceful, happy, and prosperous? How is that? Let us start with how we created man in His image and likeness. God also allowed man to think for himself, make decisions independently, and give him all the senses to feel what is right. To help man in his life, God stayed inside each man as a whole as a Divine Mind, Brahman, to help and guide him when he seeks help. Our job is to move away from all distractions and seek Divine Mind’s help. Just as you move forward in swimming by gently moving the water around you so that you are propelled forward, God can be heard only if you can push away all the distractions surrounding you in this modern age. The Upanishads and Bhagwad Gita use renunciation to begin to know God, the Divine Self inside you. This means that you remove your concentration from all the material attractions of this world and focus on the truth that God is all in all and is inside you 24/7. He is the cause and effect of everything happening in the universe. We can feel and hear God’s presence if we focus on this truth and move away from all the distracting thoughts of wealth, possessions, divisive politics, etc. Our efforts, besides knowing the fact that God is all in all, are ways to move away all the distracting thoughts through meditation and prayer. While this will be difficult initially, we can synchronize our ego-derived human thoughts with the Divine mind through constant practice and persistence. As we continue to do this as often as we need to, we will be able to listen to God’s thoughts on whatever we are dealing with, and when we obediently follow, we will always succeed in whatever we do. This synchronization of our human thoughts with the Divine Mind is termed Spiritual Thinking. In other words, the thoughts derived from this approach are purely Spiritual and represent the truth. How do we know that? It is straightforward: if you feel peaceful and happy, you know it is correct. If you think discordant, then you have to focus and pray more. It will become habitual and instantaneous eventually.

Some examples of following God’s directions and benefitting are:
An example is Abraham. He dug wells (Genesis 26: 18 – 22) and used irrigation systems for livestock farming. Jacob received a divine idea that led to excellent wealth transfer (Genesis 30: 25 – 43). God gave Moses specific instructions on building the Tabernacle (Exodus 25:40). He instructed Moses: ‘Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink’ (Exodus 17:6).

After Moses passed away, God asked Joshua to lead the Israelites to the promised land. They were preparing to conquer the land of Canaan and ran into the city of Jericho, which was protected by a vast wall. On God’s direction and a little help from a woman named Rahab, Joshua asked the Israelites to come around the city once each for six days and seven times on the seventh day with the priests blowing their horns each day and on the seventh day, the Israelites shouted as hard as they could and blowing the horns as loud as possible. The walls of Jericho came tumbling down, enabling Israelites to go and conquer the city.

Jericho Wall Story:

There are numerous other examples of people of faith tired of having curbs on their freedom of thought and action; throughout history, having prayed to God and followed His directions, they could secure their independence and live free. Since Spiritual Thinking involves synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind inside each of us, we can listen to God’s directions and free ourselves from outside manipulation. Thus, Spiritual Thinking is a fantastic way to be free.

Moses Story:

David and Goliath

https://www.biblestudytools.com/bible-stories/david-and-goliath.html
The Biblical account of David and Goliath is one of the most popular stories from the Scriptures. A great Philistine giant named Goliath, who stood at over nine feet tall, came to the front of the Philistine battle line each day for forty days and mocked the Israelites and their God.

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
