Spiritual Thinking is an excellent way to be grateful.

When God created man in His image and likeness, God also decided to stay inside each man as Divine Mind. He assumed the responsibility of driving the engine of life to keep all organs working, provided the five senses to guide man, and allowed man to breathe, supplying oxygen to life. Since God had given man the capacity to think on his own, he refrained from interfering with how man used his capacity to think. However, God was available as a Divine Mind to help when man sought God’s help. As man drifted away from the Creator, developed all negative qualities, and started living in Illusions (Maya), man had to find a way to reach out to God inside. Spiritual thinking involves synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind, Brahman, inside and helps man focus on God-based ideas and advice to achieve peace, prosperity, and happiness all the time. This enabled God to bless us, and we can be grateful for all the blessings. Thus, Spiritual Thinking is an excellent way to be thankful to God.

Spiritual thinking is an excellent way to approach Thanksgiving.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 103:1-4
Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits — who forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from the pit, and crowns you with love and compassion.
Colossians 2:6-7 (NKJV)
As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Isaiah 12:4-5 (NASB)
And on that day, you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.” Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.
James 1:17
Every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
1 Chronicles 16:34 (ESV)
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever!
Hebrews 12:28
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Psalm 95:1-5 (NKJV)
Oh, come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and shout joyfully to Him with psalms, for the LORD is the great God and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth, and the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will repeat it: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad.
Colossians 3:15-17
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since, as members of one body, you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
1 Chronicles 29:13
“Therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.”
Ephesians 5:18-20
… but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father.
Psalm 107:1-3
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has saved from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and the west, from the north and the south.
Hebrews 13:15
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise — the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.
Psalm 119:1-8
Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
Blessed are those who keep His statutes and seek Him with all their heart — they do no wrong but follow His ways.
You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then, I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

This is the time to be grateful and thank God for all his blessings throughout the year and always for future things. God is Love, and we cannot ask for anything more. God is present in each of us, Divine Mind, Brahman, and is ready to help us anytime we ask Him. While He has complete control over us, we can approach Him only by synchronizing our thoughts with the Divine Mind inside us. To do that, we must eliminate all distractions, politics, hatred, pretenses, and ego-based understandings and focus on only truth. That truth is that God, the Divine Mind, is all in all and is the only power and is the cause and effect of everything in this universe. This synchronization is Spiritual Thinking, and when we constantly practice, it becomes second nature and habitual. To God, we are all equal whether we are Presidents, Kings, Directors, or Janitors since He is the one who created us all in the same image and likeness as Him. Thanksgiving is a great time to remember this when we gather with family and friends to offer our Thanks to God. There will always be stupid people everywhere in this world who will interpret everything we do for the glory of God as evil or whatever is suitable to their thinking. This is especially true of politicians and so-called human relations people. We can ask God to forgive these people, for they know not what they do, just like Jesus did before he let out his last breath.

In my life, I have been practicing Spiritual Thinking all my life since the age of 10-12, and I have seen all kinds of ignorant people along the way. Because of their ignorance and, in some cases, stupidity, I and my family had to endure many hardships, and God, Brahman inside me, always told me about their thinking and the damage it had caused. As always, I have forgiven them, for they knew not what they did. Yes. When I was a researcher in one of the largest companies at that time, my spiritual Thinking and self-actualized nature helped me lead a whole group of PhDs successfully for almost fifteen years until a little guy(size-wise) with an ego as big as Mount Everest, was hired from another large company and became my boss. As I had in my post: Eternal conflict of the human ego and the Divine Mind, his thinking was as opposite to my thinking as possible. I showed much love, compassion, and understanding, but to no avail. Unable to handle all the brutal obnoxiousness, I left the company and started looking for a job elsewhere. An executive consulting firm, while interviewing me, could guess what had happened. They even told me that only God could help me understand, which I had accepted and knew long before. But unfortunately, the whole economy worldwide has a greater tendency to look and interpret things their way, all because of their blind ego. This reminds me of how seven blind people got together and decided to describe what an elephant looks like. One touched the body and said it was like a big mountain; one felt a leg and said it was like a giant pillar; another one the trunk, tusk, and so on. The moral of the story is that when you try to describe another person, you need compassion, empathy, and understanding of that person before you try to describe him. At one time, I sought to get into upper management because my Spiritual Thinking told me I could do many things to benefit others rather than an excellent desire for titles or to satisfy my ego. Even after 40 years, and at age 80, people are stuck on their interpretations of who I am. They are so vehement about it and want to prove that a ‘dog’ is a pig or a donkey if they say so. This is such an old-fashioned thinking. And not a single moment have they spent thinking how much suffering they can cause and have caused to a single person and his family because of their erroneous thinking. May God, on this Thanksgiving, forgive them for their ignorance. I will continue to be what I am during the little time I have in this world and be thankful to God for the opportunity I have through my books and website to pass the secrets of Spiritual Thinking to a few at a time since this topic may or may not elicit enough interest to make a decent living. And let God help my only surviving daughter from whatever trouble people are putting her through since I can not help her with no resources and being far away. I thank God in advance of Thanksgiving for doing that.
To conclude, it will be appropriate to look at Joseph’s story in the Bible and how he succeeded and became second to King Pharoah for being always ‘who he was.’

The Egyptians rescue Joseph.
In conclusion, spiritual thinking is an excellent way to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Spiritual Thinking is a great way to avoid unexpected shocks.

Romans 8:18

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory to be revealed to us. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later.
Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a man’s mind, but the purpose of the Lord will stand.
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Bhagwat Gita:
• Bad situations come by not doing anything, but you must act to create a good situation.
• Change is a universal law; that’s why every happiness or sorrow is temporary.
• Keep your focus on your duty, not on the result.
• You become what you believe in yourself
• Cowardice and fear are the enemies of success
We all face unexpected adverse situations. That is part of life. But how we deal with it reflects us and our character. Let us start with examples: Suppose we are flying in a plane and suddenly encountering severe turbulence. The pilot turns on the wear seat belt sign. Even though modern planes are toughly built to withstand extreme turbulence, we, as passengers, get scared. What do we do when the plane drops a thousand feet? Do we panic? Or are we calm and composed? It all depends on if you are an optimist or a pessimist. If you are an optimist, you will think everything will be fine. If you are a negative thinker, you are going to start thinking that you might die in a plane crash. The same is true in any uncertainties you encounter in life. That is why spiritual Thinking can help in these situations. In Spiritual Thinking, you start with a fundamental truth that God is all in all and is the cause and effect of everything that happens in the universe. Even weather patterns, a bridge collapsing, a thunderstorm or hurricane, etc, are all under the control of God, the Spirit. You experience unreal events because you believe in them, whether a fever, illness, or pain. All these are false manifestations because of your belief. If you know that nothing will happen to you until God decides that your purpose is accomplished and it is time for you to go and get ready for another assignment, depending on your performance in the current assignment. If you know this, you will stay calm and leave everything to God, the Divine Mind inside you. We fight it only because the human ego derived from the human brain tries to control everything, like trying to swim upstream in a strong current. Suppose you are a Spiritual Thinker. You will soar higher like an eagle during a storm. At the same time, I pointed to one example of flying in a plane. These kinds of shocks can happen in our daily lives. If you are walking on the streets in Manhattan, you may suddenly encounter a thug wanting to rob you. You may be hit or come close to being hit by a drunken driver, etc. You can manage shocks by consistently practicing spiritual thinking and reacting calmly and spirally. I remember a story I had read two decades ago about a violent convicted felon who escaped from prison, and the sheriffs were looking for him all over. Since it was nighttime and he was hungry, he got into an old couple’s home. They greeted him and fed him, and although they knew he was a felon, they never asked him anything and only played some hymns while he was eating. The felon reacted positively, left the old couple alone, and went his way while the couple told the Sheriff the direction he went in. They knew how to not endanger themselves with a felon with a double barrel gun. Let us take some stories from history of people saved through their faith:
Daniel and the Den of Lions:
Daniel was a Jewish young man who served as a high-ranking official in the king’s court, but his colleagues resented his success and favor before the king. So, it is recorded in Daniel 6 that they created a plot by which Daniel’s faith would land him in trouble with the law, resulting in his death. When Daniel was punished for praying to God by being thrown into a den of lions, God miraculously spared his life by shutting the mouths of the lions.
“So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king told Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!” A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his signet ring and his nobles’ rings so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed. Then, the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating or entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep. At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called to Daniel angrily, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him because he trusted his God. At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. Before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones. … “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom, people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God, and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end.” (Daniel 6:6-24, 26)

Daniel 3: 6-25
King Nebuchadnezzar had a decree that the people could worship only the king’s golden statue. When the king learned that three Jewish youths, Shadrach, Meshak, and Abednego, were worshiping their Gods, he was furious and asked them to be thrown into a fiery furnace that was made seven times hotter than usual.
22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.
24 King Nebuchadnezzar leaped in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”
They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”
25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

Story of Jonah
Since the people were leading faithless lives, Jonah was a prophet assigned to travel to Nineveh to preach. Jonah was afraid that he would be killed. So he sailed on a ship going in the opposite direction. The boat ran into a severe storm, and the captain feared the ship would sink. Jonah confessed to the Captain that he did not want to go to Nineveh, and it was his curse that the boat was about to fall. The captain threw Jonah overboard; Jonah got swallowed by a large fish and vomited alive on an isolated land. The storm stopped, and Jonah learned his lesson, went to Nineveh, and preached there.
Thus, by synchronizing human thoughts with the divine mind inside us and through consistent practice, spiritual thinking enables us to deal with shocking adverse situations. Therefore, it is a simple way to handle unexpected shocks.

Spiritual Thinking is the ultimate way to discover the true self.

Mundaka Upanishad 3.2. 9
Moksha is Jnana. One who knows Brahman becomes Brahman (Mundaka Upanishad 3.2. 9). Moksha is nothing but realizing what is one’s true self. Therefore, there is nothing more to be done for Moksha other than knowing that one’s essential nature (Swaroopa) is Brahman.

Krishna Teaching Arjuna on Bhagwad Gita

Bhagwad Gita: Chapter 3: 17-19.
17
But that man who rejoices only in the Self is satisfied with the Self and is concerned in the Self – for him, there is no duty to perform.
18
For him, there is no concern here at all with acting, nor any concern with non-performance. Moreover, for him, there is no dependence on any object to serve any purpose.
19
Therefore, remaining unattached always performs the obligatory duty, for a person attains the Highest ( Salvation ) by performing one’s task without attachment.

Daniel 5:17
Then Daniel answered and said before the king, “Keep your gifts for yourself or give your rewards to someone else; however, I will read the inscription to the king and interpret it to him.

Matthew 5:48
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

In Genesis chapter 1, God created man in his image and likeness. However, when man deviated, he developed an ego for himself, and this ego is based on the human materialistic brain and mind that led him to create a lot of undesirable qualities such as hatred, pride, arrogance, a feeling of superiority over other human beings as well as an authoritarian attitude. These qualities led him on a destructive path of lying and cheating, playing one against another, and having a constant selfish attitude. He also developed a fascination with a materialistic self that always conflicts with the Divine Self, God, and Brahman present in each of us.

God, the Divine Mind, and Brahman enter each living being at birth when the umbilical cord is cut. At that point, the breathing and control of all body organs and the brain are controlled by the Infinite, Divine Mind until death. As God bestows man to think independently, his material brain drifts and develops a human ego. If this ego is not checked, it can cultivate all undesirable qualities in a man. That is the primary reason for us to develop spiritual qualities, by thinking about all the beautiful things in nature and appreciating how these things evolved. As we understand the goodness of God and how much He loves us all, we start suppressing our human ego. With the continued development of Spiritual Thinking, through constant prayers and synchronizing human thoughts with the Divine Mind, the Divine Mind constantly helps each of us, and the destructive human ego is destroyed. Instead, we understand that God is all in all and is the only cause and effect in this universe. Jesus said, “On my initiative or authority. Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just (fair, righteous, unbiased) because I do not seek My own, I can do nothing “… ( John 5:30 ).
In this digital age, so much information and misinformation is floating around that it is hard to know what is true and what is false. In my very early post on reality and Unreality:

Reality (Truth) and Unreality (Illusion)

I had discussed how reality and unreality differ. If we are not careful, we confuse a rope with a snake or vice-versa. We are constantly distracted by untruths, so attractively presented that we tend to get immersed in these distractions and forget our actual creation as in God’s image and likeness, like a man wandering in the desert looking for water and pursuing every mirage of a lake, only to find that it was all an illusion. Our politicians want to exploit this confusion to their advantage. In these circumstances, God is our only guide to turn to.
When God created us, he also decided to stay inside and help us 24/7 if we seek His help. Otherwise, He still keeps us alive, making our organs work, keeps our five senses to guide us, and makes this engine of life work as The Divine Mind, present as a whole in each of us, but with one condition to help. That is, we seek Him when we are desperate for help. This is achieved by synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind so that God can pass His thoughts on to us in every situation. In my post on Divine Mind Synchronization:

Affirmations and Prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization

I emphasized the importance of affirming the truth that God, the Divine Mind, and Brahman are all in all and are the only power and cause and effect of everything that happens in this universe, followed by meditation, prayers, and contemplation on this truth. When we do this constantly several times a day and are grateful to God, synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind becomes habitual, and we start having peace and harmony all the time. This is called Spiritual thinking and becomes second nature in us, and we enjoy all happiness. As we progress, we will start to feel the God inside us as close as we can imagine and be able to see our true selves. In Christianity, this is referred to as being ‘born again.’ Thus, spiritual Thinking is the ultimate way to discover the true self.

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
