Spiritual Thinking is a simple way with enormous benefits.

Spiritual Thinking is a simple way with enormous benefits.

When God created man in His image and likeness, He also decided to stay inside each of us as Divine Mind, Brahman, and Christ to guide us during our entire life on earth. Thus, he helps us breathe air, activates our five senses for guidance, and makes all our organs work smoothly. Man, however, deviated and developed an ego based on the human brain and used it for all qualities like enmity—jealousy, hatred, greed, slavery, etc. God, divine Mind, was always available to help if a man could ignore this ego and seek help from God. To get this, man had to synchronize his human thoughts with the Divine Mind inside us. Since the human ego and divine mind conflict, by acknowledging God as the only power and through prayers and meditation, we can remove all distractions and realize God as the only power and the cause and effect of every event in this universe. We can hear his wisdom in all situations by recognizing God’s Omnipotence, Omnipresence, and Omniscience. This is called spiritual thinking; we enjoy peace and harmony and reap numerous benefits daily. These benefits and free Guidance are the subject of this post in various ways.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple path to Divine Wisdom.

Job 28:28
Behold, the fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.
Proverbs 1:7
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 4:6-7
Do not forsake wisdom; she will protect you; love her and watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore, get insight. Though it costs all you have, gain an understanding.
Proverbs 16:16
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!
Ecclesiastes 2:26
God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness to the man who pleases him, but to the sinner, he shares the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.
1 Corinthians 1:25
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is more vital than man’s strength.
James 3:13
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

The human ego influences thoughts from the human brain and involves inherent weaknesses such as selfishness, pride, prejudiced and tilted thinking, etc. Divine Mind, God-derived thoughts are selfless, humble, have integrity, love for everyone, and trust in all our fellow human beings. In Spiritual Thinking, we synchronize our human studies with the Divine Mind present in all of us all the time. This is done by acknowledging that God, the Divine Mind, is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and omnipresent. Prayers follow this to get God’s input in all our thoughts. God’s divine Mind does not speak to us audibly but passes His thoughts subtly when we keep our thoughts and minds clear. When swimming, we gently push the water away, propelling us forward. Eagles rise above the storm and use the wind to move them. Likewise, when we make all our mortal thoughts and illusions away, we can hear clearly what God is saying, which is what Spiritual Thinking is. It is free of human prejudices, hate, selfishness, etc. If we follow this discipline without any ego, pride, or bias, then all our decisions will be of superior quality and give us a lot of peace and happiness. Our human knowledge or intelligence has nothing to do with this phenomenon. This Wisdom is purely divinely bestowed. I will illustrate it with a few simple examples.
A baseball player who is good at hitting home runs consistently may be a naughty academic student, but he knows how to hit home runs. How does he do it? Can he calculate the trajectory he has to use, the impact strength necessary to carry the ball over the fence, or the physics involved in the ball’s travel outside the wall.? He does not know anything but can use all these scientific principles to hit the home run. A physics professor will take time to calculate all these factors, and the player will have hit ten home runs by then. This is called divine wisdom and is God-given. Another example is a sculptor. He canes away all edges and corners in a stone to carve a beautiful sculpture out of a rock. If we ask him, he will say that all he did was chip away all the pieces that did not belong to that sculpture. Only he could see the statue inside a piece of stone to chip away at the unwanted fragments so we could appreciate it. That is divine wisdom. We all have access to it all the time since God, the Divine Mind, is in each of us 24/7. We must only recognize and acknowledge it, bow ourselves, and yield to that power. That is what Spiritual Thinking is. The more we realize, the more we can eliminate our human ego and pride and enjoy all the goodness of peace, happiness, and prosperity. It is our job to appeal to this Powerdivine Wisdom. That is the reason Spiritual Thinking is the simple path to Divine Wisdom.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple way to make things possible.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Luke 1:37
For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Jeremiah 32:17
‘Ah, Lord God! You have made the heavens and earth with your great power and outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
Mark 9:23
And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
Job 42:2 ESV
“I know that you can do all things and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Mark 10:27
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
Luke 18:27
But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
God, The Divine Mind, Brahman, is the creator, cause, and effect of everything in this Universe. He is present in us from birth to death and makes every breath possible. It would be absurd for Him to say that some things could be impossible. It seems incomprehensible to your human mind, and thought is possible for God, like walking on water. Since He is present in each of us all the time and is willing to help us when we seek His help, we can always seek His help whenever we are in a situation that seems impossible to our human thoughts. By constantly synchronizing our human studies with the Divine Mind through affirmations and prayer, that is, Spiritual Thinking, we continuously get inputs from the Divine Mind, making what seems impossible possible. We have discussed in an earlier post how to synchronize our human thoughts with the Divine mind: Affirmations and prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization:

Affirmations and Prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization

If we constantly practice this type of spiritual thinking, it will become habitual in us, and we will start thinking in the image of God as He had created us; we will feel like Him.
Adam Dickey, a Christian Science Practitioner and a Personal Assistant to Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, the founder and leader of Christian Science, before she died in 1910, published an article on “God’s Law of Adjustment” in the January 1916 issue of the Christian Science Journal:
https://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1916/1/33-10/god-s-law-of-adjustment .
In this article, he states, “ What is cherished in mortal mind as the physical condition is imaged forth on the body.” “ This also applies to heat, cold, hunger, poverty, or any form of discord; all mental, though mortal, regard them as material states. Therefore, see how the law of God, which is mental, can be applied to a physical problem.
In reality, the problem is not physical but purely mental and is the direct result of some thought cherished in the mortal mind. If a man were drowning in midocean with apparently no human help, there is a law of God which, rightly appealed to, would bring about his rescue. Does the reader doubt this? Then, he must believe that man can find himself in a condition where God cannot help him. But, on the other hand, if one were in a burning building or a railroad accident, or if he were in a den of lions, there is a law of God that could at once adjust the apparent material circumstances to bring about his complete deliverance.
In each case, we don’t need to know just what this law of God is nor how it will operate. An attempted investigation into the why and wherefore might only serve to interfere with its operation and hinder the demonstration. Any fear on our part, occasioned by the fact that divine Mind does not know of our plight or that infinite wisdom lacks the intelligence necessary to rescue, should be instantly put out of thought.”
This is the principle Jesus used to perform his miracles, whether it was healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, or raising the dead. He removed the material thoughts hindering the healing so the Divine Mind could naturally solve or heal the problem.
In our daily practice of Spiritual Thinking, God, the Divine Mind, provides an insight into the problem that helps us see through the obstacles that make us think the impossible and enable us to see the possibilities. Thus, Spiritual thinking is a simple way to make things possible.

Spiritual Thinking is the Free Decongestant from Daily Worries.

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
2 Timothy 2:7
Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
1 John 4:1
Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Psalm 119:169
Let my cry come before you, O Lord; give me understanding according to your word!
1 Corinthians 13:12
We see dimly in a mirror but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
1 Peter 5:7
We are casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.
In the modern world of lies, fake news, conspiracy theories, and illusions, it is no wonder that most people are confused about the truth, God, justice, and the future. It is like driving through a long, dark tunnel with no exit. During these times, we need a shining light to guide us through. We must remember that while things change, God remains the same. He is the cause and creator of the universe, and we are His creation. As Divine Mind, Brahman is with us from birth until death, willing and ready to help us as soon as we seek His help. What causes the confusion and instability in us are not Him or His presence but our human ego and thoughts derived from that ego. Ego is a powerful detractor and constantly sways us in the wrong direction, causing all the confusion. To overcome his aggressiveness, we must continually remind ourselves of God’s presence in us all the time and that God is all in all. Through constant prayers and affirmations, we can suppress the human ego. When we do that, we will be able to see clearly and see the shining light that guides us. The Sun is always shining even through cloudy and rainy days, but to see the Sun, we need to rise above the clouds, maybe on an Airplane, and see the bright skies above. Wise, we must raise our consciousness from all confusion caused by human thoughts and hear God’s voice from within. This is what we do in Spiritual Thinking. Through affirmations and prayer, we synchronize our human thoughts with the Divine Mind and can listen to thoughts passed on by the Divine Mind, God, to us. In our earlier post on Reality( Truth) and Unreality(Illusion) :
https://www.thinkspiritually.net/reality-truth-and-unreality-illusion/2021/11/29/self-improvement/uncategorized/
we had differentiated between realities and unrealities. Some unrealities, such as disease, darkness, depression, etc., seem so real that we start believing in them and experience them through manifestations. Manifestations happen, such as the recent pandemic, only because we give them credence as realities. In our subsequent post, Transcending Unrealities and Manifesting Truth:

Transcending Unrealty and manifesting Truth

we discussed how we overcome these illusions and experience realities in our daily lives through Spiritual Thinking by synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind, God. Thus, Spiritual Thinking is the free decongestant from daily worries, which are only illusions.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple way to achieve unlimited supply.

Luke 9:16-17
And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then, he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.

Matthew 6:25-26
“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Proverbs 28:25
A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched.
Proverbs 11:24-26
One gives freely yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will be watered. The people curse him who holds back grain, but a gift is on the head of him who sells it.

Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Elisha Multiplying The Widows Oil.

The inscription on the steps in this painting identifies the subject as a rarely depicted episode in the life of Elisha (II Kings 2:23-25). Presuming Christ’s acts of charity, the Old Testament prophet is shown alleviating the poverty of a widow by miraculously providing her with oil to sell.

The widow, in outstanding debt and concerned that a creditor would take her two sons to be bondsmen, approached Elisha for help. When he asked if she owned anything of value, she replied that she had only a pot of oil. So, Elisha instructed the widow to borrow as many vessels as possible from all her neighbors. She poured her small amount of oil into eacontainersel; each remained full. When she told Elisha of the miracle, he said, “Go, see, all the oil, and pay thy debt; you and your children shall live from the rest.”

Jesus likewise fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fishes and had left over to spare. We call it a miracle. In the Mahabharata, the Pandavas were fed using a copper vessel called Akshayapatra, which supplied them with food while they were in the wilderness, which could never be exhausted. These examples show that supply is a Divine Gift and not material. This will seem like a miracle for a worldly mind, but it’s impossible practically. The capitalistic system depends on our sophisticated thinking; hence, it rings and controls behavior materialistically. But, if our mind understands the concepts of supply and demand from a spiritual side and knows that God, the divine Mind, Brahman, is the source of all supply, it will be easy to demonstrate the eternal nature of supply. We frequently practice Spiritual Thinking by synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind. In that case, we will always find ourselves with a supply of whatever, whatever is, whether for, od, clothing or other essential needs. It is our thinking that will be the obstacle in finding the supply that is in front of us. We are conditioned to see what we can see, feel, and touch rather than be able to see the elusive materialistic veil. It is like being able to see the Sun beyond the clouds. That is where the constant practice of Spiritual Thinking comes in. Spiritual thinking involves synchronizing our human thoughts with the Divine Mind present in us all the time and is the driving force behind our unconscious breathing. It is always there to help clarify our thoughts whenever we seek help through prayers and affirmations of truth. Once we can see clearly, implementable ideas come to our services to enable us to meet all the supplies we need without any limits. This will become habitual through constant practice and expressing gratitude for every little blessing we get. In an article written by Adam H Dickey in the Christian Science Journal In 1916, he writes, “ There is a law of God that applies to every conceivable phase of human experience, and no situation or condition can present itself to mortal thought which can exist outside of the direct influence of this infinite law. The effect of the operation of law is always to correct and govern, to harmonize and adjust. Whatever is out of order or discordant can have no basic Principle of its own but must come under the direct government of God through what may be termed God’s law of adjustment..”
https://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1916/1/33-10/god-s-law-of-adjustment

The practice of Spiritual Thinking is a recognition of this principle and its understanding that will enable us to demonstrate God’s unlimited supply.

Spiritual Thinking is the ultimate way to elevate thoughts.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, honorable, whatever is, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Jeremiah 33:3
Call me, and I will answer you and tell you great and hidden things you have not known.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Matthew 15:11
It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”
Proverbs 3:5
Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding.
Have you experienced situations when you are trying to think beyond a certain point and come empty-handed? You then let go, and when you are doing something else, you get an excellent idea for the things you struggled with a little while before. How does that happen? You let God, the Divine mind, and Brahman tackle the issue by taking your mind off the problem. It is like the eagles; during a storm, they take advantage of the power of the wind to soar higher rather than fight the wind. The same thing happens when you are swimming against the current. You only slide backward if you try hard to resist the draft. Instead, if you push the water away, you use the power of the stream to move you forward. In Spiritual Thinking, that is what we do. We hand over the problem to God and the Divine Mind and receive the answers when ready. Moses did this when he and the Israelites had the Red Sea ahead of them with Pharoah’s army on their back. He let God create a heavy wind that opened a path for them across the Red Sea, and the course closed up as soon as all the Israelites had crossed. The same thing happened when Lord Krishna was born in prison on the banks of River Jamuna, and his Father was able to take him from the jail in the middle of the night. The river opened up a path for the father, Vasudeva, and the child in a basket so that he could drop the child in Yasoda’s place, pick up her just-born daughter, and return to the prison before dawn. Kamsa, who had vowed to kill the child as soon as it was taken, knew nothing about the birth. Since the girl was an angel, she could fly away before Kamsa could kill her. When we seek help from God, Divine Mind is always there to aid us. This principle is written in an article entitled God’s Law of Adjustment in 1916 in the Christian Science Journal: God’s Law of Adjustment by Adam Dickey :
https://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1916/1/33-10/god-s-law-of-adjustment
in this article, the author states, “ Man lives by divine decree. He is created, governed, supported, and controlled by the law of God. Law means or implies an r is established and maintained by power; that which possesses permanence and stability; that which is unchanging, unyielding, and continuous-“the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”1 The efficiency of law rests entirely in the power that enforces it.” “He made all things; and without him was not anything made that was made.”2 All the universe’s power, action, intelligence, life, and government belong to God and have always belonged to Him. He is the Supreme Ruler and does not share His power with another.”
Spiritual Thinking synchronizes our human thoughts with our ever-present Divine Mind. When we seek help from God, this synchronization enables us to hear God’s input into the problem with fresh, elevated, and superior thoughts that we cannot generate ourselves. We see ample examples every day if we only think about them.
• Let us take a look at nature. The trees and plants combine the carbon dioxide we breathe with moisture or water. They make carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and other nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals, that we consume and give oxygen, which we breathe in. God had planned this cycle perfectly until man’s greed and selfishness made him burn too many fossil fuels created over millions of years by decaying organic matter. As a result, man generated so much Carbon dioxide by leveling all the trees and plants to develop the land for the use of the ever-expanding population. This destroyed the balance between the carbon dioxide and the Oxygen produced by the forests. The result was a climate catastrophe, too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, an ever-warming climate change, and the melting of the ice glaciers at the two poles. Now, if we seek His help sincerely, we will have innovative ideas to solve this crisis created by humans.
• Let us take an example that we are all familiar with. If we are driving in a city and we reach an intersection. The traffic cannot move in all four directions at the same time, so we have traffic lights; during rush hour, since the traffic is slow-moving, the intersection is blocked; even though the lights are functioning, the traffic is stuck, and the cross traffic cannot move either. This is especially bad in Manhattan and is called a gridlock. To avoid this situation, some spiritual thinkers could think at a higher level than the plane of the traffic and conceive of an overpass or an underpass so that the crossing traffic at different levels needs no traffic lights. And the traffic can keep moving in all directions. This is the basis of all the highways, with so many lanes crisscrossing at different levels at high speeds. This happened only because some spiritual thinker could receive this idea from his Divine Mind, which always has a solution for any problem.
• Let us look at some artificial marvels. The great Pyramids of Egypt were constructed about 2000 years ago. Like modern times, they did not have Portland Cement for construction or the vast Cranes to lift and move huge stones used in the building. Yet those structures still stand as a monument to the ingenuity of the Pharaohs two millennia ago. Where did they get the ideas and the concepts to achieve such a monumental task.?Their thinking and appeal for help to their God are the same God we refer to by other names such as Divine Mind, Brahman, or Allah, and it is present in all of us 24’7.
Through Spiritual Thinking, we open communication channels with the Divine Mind. So, why not practice it all the time?

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
