Spiritual Thinking is a simple way with a clear purpose.

Spiritual Thinking is a simple way with a clear purpose.

Spiritual Thinking by synchronization of our human thoughts with the Divine Mind inside each of us, enables to think clearely because of the direct connection we establish between our human btain and Divine Mind, God. We reap a number of benefits and can apply this clear thinking to overcome obstacles and solve day-to-day problems.

Spiritual Thinking makes it simple to discern Divine Thoughts.

1 John 4:1
Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Hebrews 5:14
But solid food is for the mature, those with powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
Philippians 1:9-10
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
1 Kings 3:9
Therefore, give your servant an understanding mind to govern your people so that I may discern between good and evil, for who can handle this, your great people?”
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
1 Corinthians 2:14
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with proper judgment.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21
But test everything; hold fast to what is good.
1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

When God created Man in his image and likeness and allowed him to think for himself, God knew that Man would veer off in his thinking, driven by ego, selfishness, and pride. That is why God is present inside us as Divine Mind and is always ready to help us when we seek His help. Therefore, in our best interest, we must take advantage of God’s offer when we need Him. To enable us to reach Him, there are some simple rules for us to follow, just like when driving on the road, we have to follow the traffic rules. We call this Spiritual Thinking the synchronization of our ego-derived human thoughts with the Divine Mind, which is permanently active in us. To synchronize our ideas with the Divine Mind, we must keep affirming that God is all in all and is the only Power on earth for all cause and effect. In addition to this affirmation, with contemplation and understanding, we need to pray and meditate on the truth constantly. This is covered in an earlier Post:

Affirmations and Prayer for Divine Mind Synchronization

Through Spiritual Thinking, we open up the channels of communication between the Divine Mind and human thoughts, and by practice, the human mind can discern the thoughts passed by the Divine Mind, God, and Brahman. Without these communication channels, human studies will only be driven by ego and selfishness, and the thoughts derived are materialistic. Constant practice of spiritual thinking enables one to receive divine ideas very easily and quickly, and the ego is suppressed entirely. At some point, spiritual thinking becomes habitual and second nature, such as driving a car without planning every action. Because the same Divine Mind or God is present in each of us, it becomes easier to communicate with others. It becomes even easier if they also practice Spiritual Thinking since they will also express divine thoughts. Even if they do not practice Spiritual thinking, it does not create as much miscommunication since you can discern what they are saying Spiritually.
You are practicing Spiritual Thinking and want to discern what the Divine Mind says. Suppose you get two or three ideas, just like when driving, and you are at a fork and wonder which fork you sho you should take long before Google Maps was readily available. For example, after I left my corporate career and hit roadblocks in every direction, I was driving a Limousine in Connecticut. The Limousine Company asked me to take about 20 people to the Airport at JFK in a bus, even before that were Germans. Who was here for sales training? I accepted the job knowing that I had two-half hours for fifty-mile airport security; however, as I hit Highway 95, Before I had gone 15 miles, a tractor-trailer had jack-knifed on the Highway ahead of me and had turned over on its side, covering all three lanes. The cops were directing the traffic through a small shoulder, and after about 15 minutes, I could exit the Highway. There was a parallel highway called Hutchinson Parkway, but it was meant only for cars. I got on to that anyway, and after keeping on exiting and reentering to avoid very low underpasses. Finally, I managed to get to Throgs Neck Bridge towards Long Island. I had never traveled in this way before, and it was a challenge to drive the Bus through all the heavy traffic in the direction of the Airport, with the Germans getting panicky and screaming in German. To make the long story short, I found myself with a sign ahead saying JFK Airport next exit. I got them all to the terminal 20 minutes before departure, and they all made the flight. As harrowing as it was, this illustrated that Divine Mind never fails. Of course, we may face similar situations. But if you keep your faith in Divine Mind, Brahman, God, He will always guide you. Even if you are headed the wrong path, He will correct it in the right direction. One clue I always found helpful is your disposition. God always makes you comfortable in any situation. And if you feel any discord, you are on the wrong path, and seek Divine Mind to help you until you feel pleased with the decision, even though it may be less traveled. Indeed, Spiritual Thinking makes it simple to discern Divine Thoughts.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple perception beyond reason.

1John:3
Behold what manner of Love the Father hath bestowed on us that we should be called the sons of God; therefore, the world knoweth us not because they knew Him not. Thus, beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not appear what we shall be; but we know that when He doeth seem, we will be like Him for we will see Him as He is. And every man with this belief will purify himself even as pure.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

1 Samuel 2:3
Talk no more so proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him, actions are weighed.

Jesus said, “Having ears hear ye not and having eyes see ye not.” What did he mean by that? When He created man in His image and likeness, God knew very well that Man would wander off since He had given man a thinking capacity of his own. In other words, most of us see the illusions around us in the world and believe that as the truth. When you are confused, your thinking is also not clear. So, to think clearly, you must clear your mind from all the distracting thoughts. It is like removing all the clouds to see the sun. We have another example we come across daily in this computer age of hacking and Robots. Most sign-ins check us out with a captcha code to ensure you are human. Sometimes, this is more confusing than only a Robot can figure out. But God is not devious like the IT people. If only we remind ourselves that God is All in all and affirm that God will make things clear through prayer. Often, the answers you get are unexpected and cannot be explained by logic or human reasoning. How does that happen? The Divine Mind knows that the human mind will only keep reason and can’t make the log jump in thoughts. When you try to patent an invention, one of the questions that the Patent examiners look for is Novelty, which you cannot expect logically. In my experience over the years in technical and mundane issues, suddenly, a thought will occur to me when I cannot solve a particular problem and let go. If I follow that thought given to me without questioning, the issue will be solved. There are too many instances of this phenomenon happening. I will cite two examples.

I have mentioned this example before. I will repeat it. This happened in my Research Group. Seven or eight Ph.D. scientists were trying to solve a manufacturing problem. The process could have been more practical to scale up from the laboratory to the Plant scale, and we had to develop an alternate practical approach for one critical step at the end of the synthetic sequence. They had developed data for various solvents, catalysts, etc., but needed help to arrive at a practical process. The management needed to be more impatient, discarding the whole project and abandoning the development of that product. They gave us three weeks to wrap things up at the end of the year. Because Christmas was approaching, the scientists stopped going to the Laboratory on Saturdays, which they were not required to do. On that Friday evening, as I was watching TV with my wife and kids, I prayed and pleaded to the Divine Mind to let me know if there was something we could do by the following day. When I went to bed, expecting that God, Divine Mind, might have an idea I could not think of, I left a piece of paper and a pencil on my night desk. Around midnight, I woke up with a specific thought handed to me with precise conditions—early morning. I worked out at the YMCA as usual and went to the Laboratory. Even though I had not stepped into the Lab for several years, I followed the instructions I had heard at midnight. Heaven behold, it worked precisely as I was instructed. All my fellow scientists would doubt me if I told them that the Divine Mind had told me exactly what to do. So I dumped all the contents into a waste can and went home. I had a tremendous time the rest of the weekend. On Monday morning, I told two of my colleagues, one a scientist and another a chem engineer, precisely as I had been instructed. Within an hour, they both returned to me running, saying it worked great in greater than ninety percent yield. When they analyzed the product, it was 100 percent pure. The engineer had another great idea: recycle the solvent to yield as nearly 100 percent as possible. We could not have arrived at this by logic or reasoning.

The second example happened several years later when I left the corporation and was blocked from getting another job. I was driving a limousine, mostly ferrying company executives to the Airport and bringing them back home. Once, the Limousine company suddenly asked me to reasonably take about 30 Germans, who had come for sales training, back to the airport for their trip back home. This was before there were any security checks or other requirements. Getting to the airport about thirty minutes before the flight is okay. So, I accepted the assignment. As soon as, unfortunately, I got to the highway, a tractor-trailer had jack-knifed and toppled, covering all highway lanes 15 miles ahead of me, and the traffic came to a standstill. I waited 20 minutes, and since there was no movement, I followed everyone exiting the highway. I then moved on to a parallel parkway with very low clearance at intersections meant only for cars and smaller vehicles to get out at each underpass and return to the Throgs Neck Bridge. I had never taken this route to the JFK Airport before; the traffic was hefty. There were no Google maps to guide us; as I headed in the Airport’s direction, I suddenly found a sign ahead of me, “JFK AIRPORT NEXT EXIT,” and I followed the instructions from that point, and I got Germans on to their Flight 20 minutes before the departure. Thank heavens, I knew no German and was not distracted by their screaming and yelling as I could concentrate on the road.
As you can see, when we are in a situation out of our control, just relying on the Divine Mind and yielding to it solves our problem when human logic and reasoning will not work. That is why spiritual thinking, by synchronizing our human thoughts with the divine mind, will help us find solutions beyond reason. We can perceive these when offered as solutions and not question them.

Spiritual Thinking is the simple divine input on our mind.
Isaiah 55:8
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
Isaiah 55:9
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than Your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 92:5
How great are Your works, O Lord!
Your thoughts are profound.

Romans 11:34
For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?

1 Corinthians 2:16
Who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the sense of Christ.

Psalm 40:5
Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done,
And Your thoughts toward us;
There is none to compare with You.
If I would declare and speak of them,
They would be too numerous to count.

Psalm 139:17
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

When God created man in his image and likeness, He also allowed him to think for himself. This was to be selfless, help other human beings, lend a helping hand to the vulnerable, and share wealth equitably share the wealth just like He told Adam not to eat from the garden, which he did anyway at the insistence of his companion Eve. That slowly led the man to develop selfish qualities, exploit other human beings for his benefit, grab even things that belong to others, etc. When he found this out, he also developed an ego independent of God, which produced other bad qualities such as pride, hate, etc., and he started thinking that he was superior to other human beings, forgetting that the same God created them too. Since God knew this would happen, He stayed inside us as a Divine Mind and made Himself readily available to help anytime we needed God’s help. People who understood this were always humble to God and sought help whenever needed through meditation, prayers, and concentrating on His mighty Power rather than their pride, ego, and human titles. Since God is readily available inside us 24’7 as a Divine Mind, those of us who acknowledge his Power and Authority as the Sole Ruler of this world for every cause and effect we could synchronize our human thoughts with this Divine Mind inside us and by doing so we can get Divine Mind into our thoughts and refine them. Because doing so suppresses or eliminates the destructive human ego, we can hear clearly what God has to say. Jesus meant this when he said,” Having ears hear ye not and having eyes see ye not.” By synchronizing human thoughts with the Divine Mind, we can see things with much more focus and clarity. Add to this some of the superior inputs from the Divine Mind; we can solve worldly problems with much more clarity and vision. This is what spiritual thinking is. With constant practice, spiritual thinking and reflection are habitual and second nature, and we can utilize God’s input in all our work. As a result, we will always enjoy peace, harmony, and prosperity despite our external circumstances. Does that mean we will not have any problems? Of course, we will. Just like we encounter sharks or crocodiles or alligators when we are swimming, in this wicked world, when they see a self-actualized person, the human tendency, especially with so much hatred for other people’s calm and cheerful temperament, insecure people filled with paranoid feelings, insecurity, racist attitudes, etc. start feeling that can not compete in career and so create all kinds of obstacles for good people. But if your faith in God is strong and all victories are bestowed as His blessings, you can overcome all these obstacles and enjoy peace, prosperity, and abundance all the time. That is why we must humble ourselves and seek God’s input through spiritual thinking.

Spiritual Thinking is a simple way to make decisions.
Psalms 25:4
4 Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.

Psalms 86:11
11 Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Isaiah 30:21
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know my plans for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you a future and hope.
Proverbs 11:14
Where there is no guidance, a person falls, but there is safety in an abundance of counselors.

God, the Divine Mind, is in each of us all the time, and it is our job to seek His help. To get His help, we must affirm that He is all in all and is the only power for all-cause and effect in this universe, contemplate with understanding all prayers, and meditate with that understanding. When we do that, we synchronize our human thoughts derived from our ego with the Divine Mind. This synchronization, called Spiritual Thinking, enables us to hear God’s input into our mind and opinions derived from the human brain. As a result, the ideas become much more straightforward, and we can see further and get clear insights. When this happens, our decisions are much wiser with a clear path. The next question will be how we know the findings are correct. If Spiritual Thinking had become habitual for us, we need not worry. If you still have doubts, there is an easy way to know. When the decisions are based on God’s input, we also feel calm and harmonious with that decision. If you still experience discord, it is still based on your human thoughts, and you must continue praying and seeking God’s input again. Only when the decision gives you peace and harmony. Even if the path seems scary, you can rest assured that you have to walk that path. But if you remember that God will not leave you astray and will hold your hands until you find that you are successful. Since He knows all your thoughts and actions, you can be sure that it will be acceptable to listen to His voice. He never speaks with a loud voice, as heard by Moses in the Movie Ten Commandments, but His whispers are still very clear. Some people call it the inner voice, which is what it is: God’s input. Let us assume that you have done everything and you still come up with two or more options or choices. What do you do? Pick the one that seems to fit your needs the best at that moment and go with it. Since you already have spiritual thinking, you would have acknowledged that God is all in all; he will hold your hand, let you know if that is wrong, and change your course. This is pretty common. You will be guided to change course without any pressure or discomfort, leading you to the right path. It has happened to me several times. I will give you two examples.
About three decades ago, when my career was blocked in all directions, I had to do several different jobs to help my sick wife. I was driving a limousine, taking executives to the Airport for travel and bringing back others from their trips. One time, the Limousine company I worked for suddenly asked me to drive a bus to the Airport, ferrying about 25 German citizens who had come for some sales training. I was in Norwalk, Connecticut, then, and we had to go to JFK Airport. This was way before all the TSA requirements. Etc., and as long as we got to the Airport 30 minutes before departure, it was ok since there were no security checks. Since I was given two and a half hours for a fifty-mile trip, I gladly accepted without ever having driven a bus. Unfortunately, as soon as we got onto the New England Highway, Interstate 95, we heard that about 25 miles ahead, a tractor-trailer had jackknifed and toppled over to the side, blocking all three lanes of the Highway going toward the Airport. Since that was the only way, especially for buses and trailers, we stuck on the Highway for about twenty miles until we entered the State of New York. Since the traffic had stopped, we were allowed to go on the shoulder to the next exit. We took the door and moved over to Hutchinson Parkway, which was meant only for cars because of the low clearance on underpasses. I took that anyway, exiting and entering the parkway to avoid the low tunnels. It led to Throgsneck Bridge, heading to Long Island. The traffic was hefty since it was a Friday afternoon. And I had never traveled this way to the Airport. However, purely on instinct, I kept driving in the Direction of JFK Airport while the Germans were cursing and yelling. Fortunately, since I did not know German well, I could not figure out what they were saying, and I kept my focus. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I saw a green sign saying, JFK Airport next exit. I took that exit, took the Germans about twenty minutes before the flight, and explained to the Airways what had happened. They were accommodating and got them all into the Plane in time, and off they went, thanks to Divine Mind holding our hands all the way.
The second example was when we lived in Madison, Wisconsin, and my daughter Jyoti was applying to all Graduate schools. She was being considered for a prestigious Jacob Javits scholarship and had to attend an interview in Ann Arbor, Michigan. So I took her and my wife and drove to Arbor on a Friday in January. The weather was fine going in. We stayed at a motel in Ann Arbor and attended the interview on Saturday afternoon. The interview went well, and we left early in the evening for Wisconsin. They predicted hefty snow that night, and we thought we would beat it since it was only a seven-hour journey. Unfortunately, we were caught in a snow blizzard two hours into the trip, and the visibility was practically zero. We exited, thinking we would check into a Motel for the night. But as we got off the highway, we were almost stuck on a foot of snow, forcing us to get back on the Highway. We kept praying and driving slowly until we saw the snow heading toward Ann Arbor behind us. After another 10 miles, it was raining briefly, and then everything was obvious. They had already plowed the highway, and we headed into Indiana with clear weather. The rest of the way was straightforward until we reached Madison at about 1:00 AM. This is a clear example of God; the Divine Mind corrected the course, holding our hands. The two examples above demonstrate the power of Spiritual Thinking in pointing us to the correct decisions. Thus, Spiritual Thinking is a simple way to make decisions.

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
