Spiritual Thinking is a powerful tool for Social Problems.

Spiritual Thinking is a powerful tool for Social Problems.

1 John 4:21;
“And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.”
Leviticus 19:18;
“Forget about the wrong things people do to you. Try to avoid even. Instead, love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”
Matthew 25:40;
“The king will answer them, ‘I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.'”
Matthew 7:12;
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, also do to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Romans 13:8-10;
“Owe no one anything except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love fulfills the law.”
Spiritual thinking enables you to experience Divine Love all the time
1 John 4:8 –
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:16 –
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
“Divine Love has always met and will meet every human need.” Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science
If you walk into any Christian science church, you will find the above statement by Mary Baker Eddy. There have been lots of articles written with that statement. I will reference one by the heading “ Love Heals “ on Christian Science Monitor dated December 18, 1984

( https://www.csmonitor.com/1984/1218/121806.html )
Let us see. What is this divine love? God, Divine Mind, is active in each of us and guides us. He is only good and only cares about our sound always, his creation. Anything else is not true and comes only from our doubts and ears emanating from our human mind. Just as you have to clear the clouds while flying on a plane to see the clear sunny sky, you have to remove all the human-derived thoughts and misinformation before you see clearly. When you do that, you will experience Divine Love and all the good He has in store for us.
Ms. Eddy, who always spent time studying the Bible in childhood, was always curious about how Jesus could heal people of all diseases. In midlife, after her first husband had passed away returned to New England and concentrated on studying the Bible. In her midlife, she was immobilized with a severe injury slipping on ice. Her physician and all her relatives lost hope, and her relatives were trying to arrange her funeral while she was alone upstairs. While studying the new testament and how Jesus healed, she suddenly got machinery, got up, dressd, and came down. She was wondering why a many people had gathered. From that moment on, she concentrated on healing others just as she had been healed. She founded the Christian Science Church, wrote the book “Science, and Health with keys to the scriptures” and published the first edition in 1875. The First Church of Christ Scientist, which has branches all over the world, practiced healing people all over the world. Along with the Bible, her book is the pastor in all these branches.
Divine Mind is always holding our hand and ready to lend a helping hand in any situation. However, we can avail of this help only if we have been practicing or understanding that God, the creator of everything in this universe and the cause and effect of everything that happens, will be able to hear his advice under any situation. This requires constant affirmations and prayers and is discussed in an earlier posting.
Once we become proficient in spiritual thinking, we can always experience Divine Love.
Spiritual thinking is very profound and simple.
For those who wonder why I am saying that let me ask a simple question: do you think about how you breathe every time you take a breath? Probably not. It is something we do naturally. If any of you have witnessed when a baby is born, the obstetrician pulls the baby out from the womb, cuts off the placenta, holds the baby upside down to get any blocking mucus out, and the baby starts crying, breathing by itself. Like all of us, the Divine Mind takes over from the mother and sustains the baby’s life until death. The baby does not know all that, neither do we, but that spirit, the power that lives life, is inside us 24/7, guiding us. This is the first and only reality that is God and is the power behind everything in this universe. Once we understand this and continue to remember this in e, everything we do, our actions become as natural as breathing. That is what spiritual thinking is. That is why spiritual reflection is very profound and simple. To make us remember whenever we need it, we affirm and pray as often as possible so that the human mind stays connected with the divine mind.

From Genesis ( Bible ), God created man in his image and likeness. The snake lured Adam and Eve to eat the apple from the forbidden garden. Once they ate the apple, they felt naked and wanted to cover themselves. Whether it is true or not, we know that God’s creation, animals, do not care if they are clothed or not, but the main gift God gave man was his capacity to think. Unfortunately, this is where humans have gone astray. While the ability to feel has been a significant advantage, in terms of progress, it also enabled him to think in non-product, five ways such as all the crimes, cybercrimes, spreading false information, and taking advantage of fellow human beings. These kinds of negative thinking that led to manifestations of unrealities such as the pandemic, wars, climate deterioration, etc. That is why we must learn to practice thinking correctly, the way God intended, and that is what spiritual thinking is all about. The Divine Mind, active in each of us, is there to help and guide us, but only if we forget the human ego-based thinking and synchronize our human thinking with the Divine Mind, which is very easy to do. We must remember that God is all in all, and all our needs will be met. Just as we hold the car’s steering wheel to stay in our lane, we must keep our minds focused on the truth. Constant affirmations help achieve this intuitively through constant practice, Synchronization; in other words, spiritual thinking will become natural, like breathing we do all the time.
That is the reason spiritual thinking is very profound and simple. Following the human mind is like a drunken driver driving on the highway. Just as those who stay away from getting drunk and going, it will become a habit when people understand all the advantages of thinking spiritually.
Spiritual thinking is profound and simple and can be practiced with focus, determination, and understanding. There is everything to be gained and nothing to lose.
Spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature
The scientific statement of being
There is no life, truth, intelligence, or substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is real natural eternal; matter is unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual.
From Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 468:9–15
Its correlative scripture
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
I John 3:1–3
Bhagwat Gita
“ Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is!”

We had discussed in an earlier post on unreality ( illusion ) and reality ( truth ),
I explained the difference between reality and unreality.
We are using some examples. Most of our day-to-day life are unrealities and are temporal. The Upanishads call these Maya ( ill, fusion), and since it looks so natural, we believe it to be accurate, like thinking of a rope from a distance, like a snake. The Upanishads emphasize that there is only one Brahman, Divine Mind, God. Adi Sankara, Arya who studied the Up[anishads and developed the Advaita Vedanta philosophy, says there is only one reality, Brahman ( G0d ). As we get this truth into our consciousness, the human mind can start connecting with the Divine Mind ( Brahman) ) and we will experience only good. This is the cause and effect of everything in this universe. An article on Maya is linked below.
Mayahttps://vedanta.org/what-is-vedanta/the-concept-of-maya/

This is what Jesus meant when he said, “ Take no thought of what ye shall eat or what ye shall clothe but seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you.”. He also, at one point, said .M Father and I are one. When we understand and assimilate this truth through affirmations and prayer, we start experiencing reality and realize that man is spiritual and not material. That is the reason spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature. Once we understand our spiritual nature, life becomes much more straightforward, and we do not fall into the materialistic ways of the world around us.
The materialistic system depends on our false belief in sickness, poverty, ego trips, hate, envy, indifference towards others, etc. Once we realize our spiritual nature, we develop integrity, compassion and empathy, honesty, peace, and happiness. Spiritual thinking can become a natural habit.
Spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature.

Spiritual Thinking is a beautiful way to combat fake news.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil
Mahatma Gandhi.

Fake news, rumors, gossip, and lies disrupt and ruin people’s lives, affect people’s productivity, sickness, and losses, and even destabilize established democracies. It used to be before the advent of social media that some people always tended to make up stories without even thinking about the consequences of their lies. Because there were no social media, these lies would spread much more slowly to have any significant impact. But with social media users everywhere, lies and misinformation gets propagated faster than the television news or the print media. The damage is so severe, mainly when people in power use misinformation as a pollical strategy to hurt brilliant people’s nations, opponents, and careers. This kind of behavior stems from extremely narrow-minded, self-egregious behavior. Unfortunately, social media moguls are so interested in making money that they do not even care to control the dissemination of lies in the name of freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is essential, but when abused intentionally for selfish reasons, there must be a mechanism to neutralize it with facts or discredit them.
An alternative is a voluntary appeal to the Supreme Power for each of us to discern the Truth. Since God, the Divine Mind, knows facts versus lies, if we seek His help, we will be informed of the lies right away. How does that happen? When it interacts with the human Mind and thoughts are passed on, the divine Mind will react and feel in two different ways. If it is the Truth, we will have a pleasant and good feeling. If it is a lie, we will have an unsettling, discordant feeling, and our behavior will become angry, boisterous, and impatient. At this point, it develops even hatred towards those who disagree. It could eventually lead to mental madness. When adopted by many people, these qualities and their Thinking lead to manifestations of the now prevalent pandemic, wars, turbulence in weather patterns, etc. Suppose a large majority would understand Spiritual Thinking and practice synchronizing our human thoughts with affirmations of one reality and Truth and prayers to reinforce that Thinking. In that case, all these discordant manifestations will disappear, and we can unite as one nation and one world, with God as the Supreme ruler. While this is a lofty goal, it is attainable by transforming one individual at a time. God willing, this can happen fast, and all disharmonies can be eliminated, and even the culprits who start these can be healed. With God, everything is possible. That is why Spiritual Thinking is a beautiful way to combat Fake news.
The Remarkable Truth that makes Spiritual Thinking valuable.
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and the strength of his might.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.”
1 Chronicle 29:11
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
2 Timothy 1:7
God gave us a spirit, not of fear but power, love, and self-control.
1 Corinthians 6:14
And God raised the Lord and will also raise us by his power.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who can do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
The supreme power that drives our life from birth until our death, keeping us breathing in and out, is with us 24/7, ready to help and shower all good on us; it is called by various names such as God, Brahman, OM, Divine Mind, Infinite Mind, Allah, Yahweh, etc. Although we cannot see this Power enter us at birth or leave at death, it is ready to help us anytime we seek His help, and it is the creator, cause, and effect of everything that happens in this universe. Therefore, this Power, Go,d is present in each living being. We have discussed this mighty Power in an earlier post, the Power of powerful OM or Aum and infinity.
We call Spiritual Thinking the synchronization of our human thoughts with this Divine Mind through affirmations and prayer.
When synchronized, the human ego, from which human thoughts are derived and are non-productive, is replaced by ideas derived from the Divine Mind, and these thoughts provide a much fort to us, supplies for all our needs, harmony, and peace. We slowly reflect God’s image with which we were created. That fulfills the purpose for which we were created.
In the eighth century, the greatest exponent of the Upanishads and the Founder of Advaita Vedanta philosophy reiterated the existence of only one reality, that is, Divine Mind and spirit, and there is no existence of Duality, Material, and spiritual. Hence, Jesus, in his famous sermon on the mount, said,d as explained in Mathew 6:25 – “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”
And is continued in Mathew 6{33 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these. things shall be added unto you.”
Thus if you concentrate on the Divine Mind through affirmations and prayer, practicing Spiritual Thinking, the human mind will receive all the directions and ideas to implement, and all your needs and more will be met. Further, if you are grateful for every blessing, you will keep receiving more. Thus practicing the one reality of God, the Divine Mind, is, all in all, will take care of all your needs and happiness. Therefore, the remarkable truth makes spiritual thinking valuable to all of us.
Divine Love is the answer to superior Self Esteem.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
. Jeremiah 17:7
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
Psalm 27:3
Though an army besieges me, my heart will not fear; though a war breaks out against me, I will be confident even then.
Isaiah 32:17
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
God, Divine Mind is with us all the time, helping us to breathe from birth to death, guarding us, protecting us, and driving the engine of life; It is His Love, The Divine Love, keeps us in our lane. When we start drifting out of the roads, He brings us back into the streets. Though he gave us a material brain to think, He knew we would use it in the wrong ways and develop an Ego that would take us in the wrong direction. Since this ego will lead us through all illusions, Maya, or unrealities, we will start experiencing all kinds of maladies such as disease, famine, wars, turbulence in climate, begin hating each other, unhealthy competition, suppression of others, and so on. He confers unconditional Love on us because of His forgiving nature to allow us to correct ourselves. In return, all we have to do is know that He is all in all, and we are here to reflect The image that He created us with. To do that, we can affirm the only truth that He is all in all. We can go further by affirmations and prayer so that our thoughts are always synchronized with Divine Mind. That, in essence, is what Spiritual Thinking is. When we practice that, we will experience and manifest all goodness, compassion, and empathy to others and other beings such as animals, pets, etc. All the main things evolve from His cause and effect, and we will always be supplied with our needs. This happens through ideas He passes on through our consciousness and turns into opportunities for us to carry out. This is what Jesus meant when he said, “ take no thought for what Ye shall eat, drink or wear, but seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you.”
When we keep practicing Spiritual Thinking, our lives are full of peace and happiness, and since His supply is unlimited, we will always have plenty to spare. That is what we meant in an earlier post,t” Spiritual Thinking – the power totaled, and another post on Divine Mind Spiritually manifest endless supply:
When we keep experiencing this Divine Love, our self-esteem and self-worth keep increasing, and we do not despair anymore. Thus Divine Love is the answer to superior self-esteem.

Love is the cornerstone of Spiritual Thinking
I Corinthians 13:4
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.”
Ephesians 4:32
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Luke 6:35
“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Highest, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.”
Colossians 3:12-13
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
I Peter 3: 8-9
“Finally, all of you have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.”
Love is the cornerstone of Spiritual Thinking. Why? As we have discussed, spiritual thinking seeks God, Divine Mind’s input on our thoughts. God created us in his image and likeness. If we all had been that way, we would have been happy and peaceful and enjoying His blessings all the time. But God gave us an independent material mind that we let wander in all directions, and in our ambition to influence and control others, we developed a human ego that became the primary materialistic motivator. This created a lot of unfair competition and hatred that made us experience much discord.
As a consequence, we started manifesting and experiencing a lot of bad things, such as racism, fascism, pride, and a lot of these qualities led to further discord and diseases, climate change, wars, and so on. God also allowed us to correct ourselves, and Thinking like Him is one of those opportunities. Since God represents only Good and He bestows only Good, the more we align with Him, the more we will experience all Good. The first step to being like Him is to affirm the truth of only one reality: God, the Divine Mind, is all in all. He is the only cause and effect in this Universe that He had created. Having done that, we want to synchronize our human thoughts with the Divine Mind. You do that by constant prayers until the human ego disappears and is taken over by ideas passed on to our consciousness by the Divine Mind so that we start reflecting his image and likeness that He intended when creating us. A
consequence of that will be Like Him; we would love all our fellow beings and see His reflection in all of them. This love is so contagious that the hatred that some of our leaders have spread recently will melt away. We will experience only goodness, prosperity, and peace. My friend and mentor, Rev.John W. Adams, wrote an earlier post, “ Love the one reality.”

From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
