Spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature

The scientific statement of being
There is no life, truth, intelligence, or substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual.
From Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 468:9–15
Its correlative scripture
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
I John 3:1–3
Bhagwat Gita
“ Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is!”

We had discussed in an earlier post on unreality ( illusion ) and reality ( truth )

I had explained the difference between reality and unreality
Using some examples. Most of our day-to-day life are unrealities and are temporal. The Upanishads call these Maya ( illusion ) and since it looks so real we believe it to be true, like thinking of a rope from a distance like a snake. The Upanishads emphasize that there is only one Brahman, Divine Mind, God. Adi Sankaracharya who studied the Up[anishads and developed the Advaita Vedanta philosophy, says that there is only one reality, Brahman 9 G0d ). As we get this truth into our consciousness, the human mind can start connecting with the Divine Mind ( Brahman) ) and we will experience only good. This is the cause and effect of everything in this universe. An article on Maya is linked below

This is what Jesus meant when he said “ Take no thought of what ye shall eat or what ye shall clothe, but seek ye the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.”. He also at one point said. I and my Father are one. When we understand and assimilate this truth through affirmations and prayer, we start experiencing reality and realize that man is spiritual and not material. That is the reason spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature. Once we understand our spiritual nature, life becomes much simpler and we do not fall into the materialistic ways of the world around us.
The materialistic system is dependent on our false belief in sickness, poverty, ego trips, hate, envy, indifference towards others, etc. Once we realize our spiritual nature we develop integrity, compassion and empathy, honesty, peace, and happiness. Spiritual thinking can become a natural habit.
In conclusion, spiritual thinking helps man to recognize his spiritual nature.

He then returned to India, continued his Gnana Yoga for self realization, while studying Upanishads and Bhagwat Gita. Through these blogs he is sharing his knowledge and insights into how Spiritual thinking enables one to attain peace, harmony and happiness. He has just released a book on Amazon on : Think Spiritually, Spiritual Thinking For Life. https://www.amazon.com/author/sivaraman_raghu/ ." From birth until our last breath, a supreme power stays inside us, allowing us to breathe, making all the material organs work, and giving us the five senses to guide us. This power, called by various names such as God, brahman, Yahweh, Allah, Divine Mind, etc., is the engine of life. This Divine Mind can help us anytime we seek God’s help. The Divine Mind has all control over us, but we can only appeal to it through affirmations that God is all in all and is the Sole power for all cause and effect in this universe. He is present in us 24/7 by synchronizing our human thoughts with this Divine Mind. God passes on his thoughts to us. This synchronization becomes habitual through constant prayers and affirmations, and we enjoy Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Happiness. This is called Spiritual Thinking and is the backbone of peaceful bliss in our lives."
